Ute Creek Golf Course

Ute Creek is a great muni course, the best of the 3 city owned courses in Longmont. Some good long holes, fun par 4’s, enough sand and water to get your goat. Can be very busy at times so recommend booking tee times early online. Very pleasant staff.

Ute Creek is great from the super staff to the superb diversity of the holes.

An easy walk.

Keep the ball in the fairway and you'll do well. Find the rough or the boonies and it can be very challenging.

Pace-of-play is usually good, but if slow, chat with one of the marshalls.

Overall a fun course. We play there numerous times a year!

This course is a fun course to play because it is fairly wide-open. The length of the course is what makes it more challenging for most people. It tends to be in good shape in the fairways, greens, and tee boxes. The pace of play can be slow on certain days but but for the most part you are be able to play in 4 to 4 1/2 hours. The 19th hole prices for beer could be cheaper or at least have a happy hour on certain days.

course is always interesting and in good shape. wasn't sure that would be true in the CO "offseason", but all good.. Staff is always helpful and friendly too. Only issue is the pace of play, but that's at least partly because it's challenging - some holes really bog down as players flounder.

My son and I played this course on a warm August Sunday. My son is new to golf, and I only play about 3-4 rounds per year. There is a nice selection of tee boxes to choose from based on your skill level. We played with another twosome who were a bit better than we were, so they played a bit further back. The course itself was in very good shape for August and on the weekend. Pace of play was good, and there were rangers around to keep folks moving along without feeling rushed.

Drink carts were available (and used) and the staff was very pleasant.

I would definitely go back to Ute Creek. For the money, it is a very nice course for the outskirts of Denver. There are some challenging holes, but most of them are fairly open fairways, so if you keep it fair, you should have a good round.

Played with a friend, it was very challenging and lots of trouble, but my friend shot very well.

Greens rolled true, I would recommend to others.

Third time I have played here. Good value for the money, some challenging holes. Wind always seems to be a factor.

Great value and fun layout. Greens were a bit beat up but to be expected at a muni this late in the season.

Great players course, generous fairways, receptive greens, variety of holes, 4 tee boxes, backdrop of the mountains beautiful! desighn. Driving range, chipping green, beautiful putting green. My favorite!

Highly recommend this course to anyone visiting Denver area. Greens and fairways are in super shape!

Great course. Open with alot of sand. Some wet, spongy spots. Overall fun time.

Took 4 1/2 hours. Followed a fivesome after teeing off a half hour late due to a tournament? No beverage /snack cart to be seen the entire round.

Course was in good condition although there were a few damp spots on some fairways. Whilst the fairways are reasonably generous, there are plenty of large bunkers both on the fairways and in front of the greens to catch your ball, they certainly did mine. The water hazards are also in play in a number of holes.

Despite the above it was a fine weather day to play golf and pace of play was good, we were a 3 ball and played the front 9 in 2 hours, and although the back 9 was slower overall pace was reasonable.

On the day we played the greens were fast, particularly on downhill putts, which I had a lot of.

We were on vacation from the UK, and would recommend to friends.

Worse condition I have seen at this course. Greens were brown. Don't play here if you care about course conditions.

Had no idea it was a RTJ III designed course.

Much tougher than my normal courses in D/FW area.

Very pleased with the course and staff who made our last day of vacation memorable.

First time playing the course, very nice practice facility. Tees, fairways, bunkers and greens were all in good to great shape. Good mix of long and short holes.Speed of greens was average. Cart person came by often, saw one marshall during the round. Playing again this week. My average score is 80-82 and I shot 82 with 3 doubles.

First time playing in Colorado in a while and loved the greens and pace of play.

It also brought me back to my youth with the extra distance in the mile high city.
