Ute Creek Golf Course
About
Formerly a cornfield, Robert Trent Jones Jr. utilized the natural area and the import of over 600,000 cubic yards of dirt to create the challenging Ute Creek Golf Course. The championship course has a traditional links-style layout that is said to challenge even the most avid of golfers. The public, 18-hole golf course offers 7,167 yards from its longest tees, playing to a par of 72. It features several water hazards, especially on the back nine holes, with five lakes situated on the course and two streams that wind through it. Ute Creek Golf Course's well-bunkered greens and undulating, multi-level fairways provide more interesting elements to the game.

Wednesday Senior Golf Bargain
Fun course with wide fairways and fast greens.
Ute Creek is in marvelous condition.
Playing Ute Creek was a pleasure on Friday. The pace of play was good; the course is in very good condition; and the staff was very pleasant and helpful.
A really fun course for all abilities
Just a great layout with great view of Front Range
Ute Creek
I have to say that the course/driving range is better than the club house. I would rate this course a 4 stars after all!
Nice surprise
Very fun and challenging but manageable track. Lots of bunkers to punish you for getting too greedy and a surprising amount of water for a Colorado course.
A+++
Course was in pristine condition. Nice challenge for mid-handicap golfer. Bunkers in A+ shape, nice rolling hills and beautiful mountain scenery. PLAY HERE IF YOU ARE IN DENVER AREA! Will be back soon.
Great Course, Reasobably Priced
I have played over 100 courses during the past year and this ranks in the top ten. It's a beautifully designed Robert Trent Jones II course, in a links style treeless setting. The fairways are mostly wide, but uniquely trapped. The greens are uniquely different with lots of bunkers. The course is in great condition and well preserved for being public. The practice facilities are extensive and well maintained. The staff is friendly, competent and well organized. There are multiple in-course marshals who keep the play moving along. I truly enjoyed playing here!
Super course super price
Gem of a course in a beautiful setting. Amazing public course that is kept in pristine condition. Hats off to the grounds crew and staff that make this course one my favorite stops!
Wide open
Beautiful course. Nothing in Longmont compairs. BEA utiful.
Good course for the money
This was my second time playing this course, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The pace was just a touch slow, but I blame it on the beautiful weather and everyone wanting to be out! The staff was very friendly and the course was in great shape. One tip - eat before you go. The food isn't bad but it's definitely overpriced for what you get. All in all, if I'm able to get out for under $30 per person again, I'll jump on it!
Wow!!
I'm not sure I've ever seen a golf course in Colorado in prime shape this late in October. Great job.
Great course -- poorly managed
Always 2-3 groups deep at 10th tee. Local members reign -- even over management. Out of control
This used to be a great course.
I used to play this course several times a week, but now find myself after each round, swearing that I will never return.
My biggest complaint is the condition of the course. Lift, clean and place is has been the norm all summer. Nearly ever shot, including drives, finds large amounts of mud on the ball. They have been over watering for some time and the course is saturated in most areas and dead and covered with weeds in others where the sprinklers should cover, but don't. It is so wet, that the mowers have been tearing the course apart, leaving deep water-filled tire marks.
This course was not designed to be waterlogged. Bobby Jones II had a links course in mind when he designed it, and it is meant to be long, firm and fast.
Decent course with lots of undulations
This is a fun course with hardly any flat lies. I spent the whole round with my ball either above my feet or below my feet, even when I was in the fairway.
The greens are in ok shape. Lots of ball marks, as it seems most people don't bother to repair their ball marks. The greens are nice and soft, however. Some of the pin positions are pretty challenging, with significant sloping right around the hole.
The fairways are a little rough. It felt like about half of my "fairway" shots were still pretty tight lies. The grass wasn't in that great of shape, but just 15 feet around me the fairway grass was great. I liked the mix of "grip it and rip it" holes with "land it here" holes. Lots of fairway bunkers to avoid or carry. Yeah, I spent a good portion of my day in the sand.
The pace of play was very good, we finished 18 in just over 4 hours. I would definitely play here again.
Fun course wide fairways.
I really enjoy this course, the only reason it's getting a four from me is due to the really wet fairways and no cart girl service until we were on hole 17. We had a 7:30 am tee time on Saturday .The staff was fun and friendly.
Nice track
Walked 18 with my son. Course in good condition and decent pace of play. Will play here again.
Fun Round
Course was in good shape and it was all you can play for $29 so what's not to like.
Horrible experience
Longest 9 holes of my life! Paid the full weekend rate for 18 holes and it took 3.5 hours to get around 9. Had a group of 5 in front of us who were drunk. Got a rain check for the other 9 felt like a free 18 would be more acceptable as you can't play well at all when its that slow. Very displeased
Ball marks....
Course is in fair shape. Honestly expected a little better considering all the rain we have gotten this year. There were dead spots in fairways and rough area. The dead spots are not the biggest problem with this course though. The problem lies on the greens. Apparently 90%+ of the people who play this course never learned how to repair ball marks or just don't care to. Some greens were worse than others but all greens had ball mark damage that was never repaired by the player. i repaired as many as I could but it was like the beach at Normandy on most of the greens.
