Ute Creek Golf Course
About
Formerly a cornfield, Robert Trent Jones Jr. utilized the natural area and the import of over 600,000 cubic yards of dirt to create the challenging Ute Creek Golf Course. The championship course has a traditional links-style layout that is said to challenge even the most avid of golfers. The public, 18-hole golf course offers 7,167 yards from its longest tees, playing to a par of 72. It features several water hazards, especially on the back nine holes, with five lakes situated on the course and two streams that wind through it. Ute Creek Golf Course's well-bunkered greens and undulating, multi-level fairways provide more interesting elements to the game.

Overall challenging course
Interesting set up on back nine with 3 par 3's 3 par 4's and 3 par 5's. But overall excellent experience
great round
got on for a great price through golfnow. played 18 as a twosome in under 4 hours. greens were in great shape.
Good Course
This course has a great practice facilities
Course is in real good shape , greens rolling real good,
Pace of play was a little slow , but not terribly bad
ute golf
I booked on golfnow thinking I was getting a discount to my dismay I paid the going rate with no discount of $39.00 each, which golfnow said was 40% off thinking this is really a high price high end course and lost 4.99 for booking fee for golfnow. May never use golfnow again. Also I asked for Denver area courses and this course came up and it turned out to be a 1 hr drive north of Denver.
A Great course
This course is in great shape and a gem I'll be back
Favorite in the area
Ute Creek is a lovely course. I can shoot scratch on easier courses, ,but breaking 80 here is tough for me. Nice greens: firm and fast with undulations galore. It's pricier than most courses I play, but on special occasions is a real treat.
Exceptional course
This was my first time playing Ute Creek and I can guarantee that it won't be my last! It has been raining for the whole month of May, yet the course was in pristine condition. The staff gave us an excellent deal and they were extremely friendly. Definitely recommend this course!
Perfect Morning
Played this course for the first time today. This was an awesome experience. Staff was really friendly. Course was in excellent condition. Finished the round in 4.5hr, and I walked.
Nice!
Well maintained, great value, awesome staff. I play 5 rounds a week at various courses, I will play Ute Creek more regularly after my experience. Very scorable course, with enough challenge from the tips for any handicap.
Greens were perfect !
They have the greens in perfect shape right now . They are rolling a bit slow , but very true. This is a course to hit your driver. Difficult and interesting shots into the green on many holes . This is a very good golf course if you haven't played it yet. Clubhouse staff are always friendly.
Great day
I play here often, this day was actually great. Often pace of play is painfully slow, but for some reason the course was fairly empty, we finished in just over 3 hours. Always like the course, and right now it's in great shape for spring golf!!
Price buster for two :-)
Lots of sand, but couldn't beat the price. Any day
on the golf course is better then a day at work :-) !!!
Lots of sand traps
Course was in okay shape for early season.. Greens had been sanded and areated,, and some bunkers needed more sand. (rocks). Genleman checking in was nice and marshals were nice. Great value for $20 per person with cart! Regular prices would have been way too much for weekday afternoon golf. Weather was perfect and enjoyed the round.
Awesome Day!
I hadn't been out since last fall, booked round through Golfnow.com at over 50% off, played with buddy on St. Patrick's Day, played great, and won some money! Priceless! The Course was in excellent shape, the staff is always great, and practice facilities are superb!
The Uterus
Always a great course! Friendly staff. Played Jan 26. Greens in overall good shape.
good stuff
I love playing this course. This was my second time and it was just as good as the first.I am a beginning golfer and have only played about six courses. Ute Creek is by far the most challenging course I've ever played. At the same time it's not overwhelming.I would definitely recommend this course too high handicappers or low.
This course was in great shape
I played at 7:20, the course was well-groomed even though it had been aerated earlier in the week. I finished my round in approximately 4 hours walking. I would definitely play this course again
Best course in Boulder County
Ute Creek is a nicer course Sunset, Twin Peaks, Haystack, Bella Rosa, and even Fox Hill IMO. Best bang for your buck, rated #1 out of 27 total in the area.
