I have never played a more picturesque course. The flowers are unbelievable

This course is very unique. Great practice facility, (lighted at night), the restrooms on the course are top notch, the course is challenging if not difficult, the staff at the restaurant is wonderful, the clubhouse is beautiful, and you must check out the crow's nest for views of the property. Another nine holes are expected to open next year...

The only drawback was cart path only. That happens quite a bit here, but that doesn't change the desire to return each time I'm here on vacation.

This course is always in amazing condition. Layout is challenging and fun. The flowers at the course supposedly cost 1.5 million dollars. Look forward to playing again soon

Simply put, this is the most beautiful course I have ever played. They must spend millions a year just on flowers. The course itself is fun and challenging. There is a lot of water including an island fairway so hitting straight off the tee is a must. I'll definitely come back.

I've played Baywood Greens a few times now and It was always a great experience. This time the tee times were set at 8 minute intervals which made for a 5 1/2 hour round. We waited on just about every hole. I've played Delaware courses all the time as a resident and this is the longest round of golf I've played in a long time. They should set the tee times to at least 10 minutes. Other than that course was in great shape.

The course was in fantastic shape. The greens rolled true. The rough was not that penal. The bunkers were well maintained. I can't wait till the third nine (Duneside) opens up. From the 15th green and 16 th fairway , the new nine looks plush and ready to play.

From the entrance way to the 18th green, Baywood Greens is a beautiful layout. Staff were at the bag drop off to load your bag onto the carts and get your carts ready while you checked in to the pro shop. The range balls were complimentary, not just a bucket but all you could hit, and there was a nice putting green along with a chipping green with a bunker to get you warmed up. The starter called our tee time and took us to the first hole where he explained everything about the course. Five sets of tees allowed you to have an enjoyable round. I played the course around 6500 yards and found the fairways to get plenty of rollout on the drives, even though there was plenty of recent rainfall, which lead to the only negative of the round because it was cart part only. I didn't understand that because the course was dry except for a few spots that were marked. Cart only also didn't let us take advantage of the GPS on the carts but did come in helpful on a few doglegs off the tee and distances to the bunkers off the tee. Each hole was unique in its own way and provided for a very memorable round of golf. The fairways were perfect and the ball sat up nicely. The rough was penalizing, especially around the greens but it was very playable. The greens rolled true and quick, not to fast but not to slow. We will be back to Baywood on our next vacation.

Slow Pace - 5+ hour round.

Golf course is a MUST play for it's flowers and landscaping. The course is an interesting layout with island fairways and lots of over water shots. Great fun!

The front nine at Baywood provided an opportunity to play some tight fairways with greens protected by bunkers. This provided an excellent challenge, along with good scenery.

The back nine was picturesque with significant challenges throughout. The greens were immaculate and consistent from beginning to end. The entire foursome that I played with would recommend this course to anyone. It was a beautiful course with enough challenge to thrill the low to high handicappers.

Aside from being a long drive from everywhere, on painfully slow back roads, this is a destination course.
Everything, carts with gps,the range, every blade of grass, millions of flowers, pure white sand traps, even the water hazards were perfect. We played afternoon round and did not see another player on the course til 16th green. Gazebos around the course even have padded patio lounge chairs to wait out bad weather. Did I mention the clubhouse was beautiful as well. Great golf & great experience as well. I will be back!

Have played several times always in great condition from Dic the starter to the pro shop personnel can't be any better. Course conditions were great pace played in four hours will be back love the course.

Great shape, beautiful fairways and greens, a wonderful place to play. A botanical garden, kudos to the horticulturist and grounds crew.

This is a really really good golf course. It was in fantastic shape with well manicured tee boxes and fairways, defined rough and great greens. The landscaping around the course rivals any I have ever seen. It is also challenging with well placed bunkers and greens that have subtle breaks and are very quick. It is absolutely one of the best public golf courses I have played.

So glad I made the trip for this course . Fantastic conditions and really quick greens .

Even in the rain the course conditions were very good. The course is challenging but fun to play.

The grounds were very nice and probably especially beautiful in the summer. My only criticism is with the greens. They were very inconsistent and below par.

From the service of the staff, the facilities at the course, the knowledge and helpfulness of the starter, the condition and layout of the course, and in cart golf GPS to boot. Baywood Greens is an absolute pleasure to play. Hands down my new favorite.

They need more pro-active player assistants to keep play flowing. On 1st par 3 we were the 4th group waiting on the tee. Granted it is a long par 3, but there must be a way to get it moving!

This is an excellent course, it's the best in the region; however, winter took its toll plus a 40 mph + gale force winds took a toll on my game, LOL, I'm sure within a month, it will be pristine. Baywood has it all........
