Baywood Greens

The course had a lot of sand traps and was challenging. Also there was a lot of water holes.The course condition wasn't perfect because they had aerated the greens and it wasn't spring yet. We enjoyed it!

There's three phenomenal courses in Delaware, Baywood, Bayside and White Clay Creek. Hands-down Baywood separates itself from pack with its pristine course conditions and beautiful landscape/scenery. Every time I play I look forward to playing hole 14 with the island fairway, gives me nightmares at times but makes the round even more exciting...as long as I don't go in the water! Would recommend this course to all golfers and truly is the best course in Delaware! I usually play the white tees but good luck if you play from the tips!

Nice course, soggy because of recent rains, greens had been worked on so, a little bumpy. Better playing in summer.

Even without the flowers, Baywood Greens continues to be an awesome golf facility. Course was in excellent condition. No problems with fall leaves, greens perfect and fast. Staff very friendly. I will definitely return to play again.

Great course that is always well maintained. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. A hidden gem in Lower Slower Delaware.

A wonderful course to play. Very fast greens. Difficult for the average golfer, but you have to enjoy it and not worry about the score card. Very friendly staff and well worth playing.

By far the best golf course in the Delaware, Maryland coastal area. Baywood Greens is above the rest . All the other courses in the area are just competing for #2.

I've lived near this course for a few years and finally got around to playing it. It lives up to the hype. Friendly and efficient staff, beautiful surroundings, course is in immaculate condition, even in late October. NO LEAVES!!! Course maintenance folks were everywhere but never in the way. It is Expensive, nut if you've got the game and want to play a premium course at the Delaware shore, put Baywood on your list.

Course in very good condition. Would be perfect if people fixed their ball marks on greens. Picture perfect autumn afternoon, good pace. Very interesting layout, several difficult holes that demand prior play knowledge. A bargain using Golfnow discount.

We have been going as a large group from the Philadelphia area every Spring for the past 15 years to play four days/rounds at the Delaware/Ocean City, MD courses. We rotate among 6-7 courses but Baywood is our "must play" every year. Great course, facilities, and staff.

Have played here since it opened in 1998 as 9 holes. great course. Difficult challenge. Beautiful.

The groundskeeper had every piece of equipment of every hole going. Mowers, blowers, carts and more carts, sprayers, rakes on every single hole I played. It was out-of-line for the money I paid to play. I have a early morning tee time, but the groundskeeping crew was not even close to finishing and getting off the course. I will never waste my golf dollars on a place that treats the golfers like they are in the way.

I don't know why people rave about this course. There are some holes that simply need a windmill and a boardwalk to qualify as miniature golf. There are some nice holes, but not enough to make this a great course. Fairway conditions are very good. Greens can tend to be a little lumpy. The clubhouse facility is really excellent for a public course. All in all, I don't think it's worth the price or the rather slow pace of play.

Round took 5 hours... Slow play. The course was in great shape as usual and the employees friendly. However I wish the rangers were around more to keep the pace of play on target

One of the most beautiful courses I have played. We had the course to ourselves. Greens were fast but fair. Had not only a Par 3 island green, but also an island fairway. Flowers on course just amazing. Will be back next year! Since we were the only ones on the course we never saw a cart girl and the snack bar was closed at the turn.

Great course - many tees for various levels of players.
Would highly recommend this course to anyone.
Course was in very good shape - especially for the time of year.

This course is so beautiful and well groomed, the staff is extra nice. I felt like I was down in Orlando on one of the Disney courses, there are so many planted flowers in vivid colors. I only wish I lived closer so that I can play it at least twice a year.
At the 19th hole had lunch before a long drive back to NY. Had the most amazing Seafood Quiche.

Second time I played the course. Both times a wonderful experience. Landscaping on the course is worth a view even if you don't play golf.
