First, I thought the course layout was pretty nice. The starter was very friendly as well. Now for the not so good part of this review. We waited on every shot, and it took 3 hours to complete 9 holes. I had to quit early because they were doing NOTHING to speed up play. At one point the Marshal drove up and asked how it was going. I showed him how slow the people in front of us were and he said he'd do something about it and drove the other way. They are putting way too many golfers on this course and the speed is as slow as anything I've ever played. A 6 hour 18 hole round is way TOO long. I hope they'll work on better course management because the course would be great to play again if not so slow.

We have been to this course many times(one of our favorites), but today the play was just too slow, and it got a little boring waiting so long at every hole.

Pace of play was 4 hour round. Greens were excellent condition and fast. Sand traps are in poor shape needing sand. It is a challenging course requiring to play the hills and ball position. Tees need work. Driving range has free balls but grass is sparse to hit off of. Price was good but do not expect extras.

A great value in the area whether you pay the daily rack rate, Golfnow or Players Club. The course recently purchased new range balls and over the past year the superintendent has fixed areas that were always wet like the area in front of 4 and 12 greens and new sod on some tee boxes. Greens are in good shape and would be better if people fixed more ball marks on the greens. Four sets of tees allow you to find the best for your game. Some nice short par fours like 4, 15 and 16. Inside staff are greasy and friendly. Daily specials in the grill great chef, bartenders and on course beverage carts. Once again for the price great course. Staff make this a great place to play and are making improvements.

First time playing the course and man was I disappointed. In such an affluent area, this was not what I expected. Cart paths were busted up, bare spots all over the course, poana spots all over the greens, and hardly any sand in the bunkers. I play a lot of golf at many different courses and this was just a shame to see what this course is and perhaps what it use to be- no attention or maintenance to the little details. $70 to play that course felt like I should have been given a partial refund. I’ve never been one to write a review, but if I can save someone from wasting their money like I did, it’s worth it.

The course is showing the results of high number of rounds at this point in the season. Many tee boxes are in need of TLC in order for the grass to come back. Faiways were in good shape. Greens were mostly in great shape -- loved the speed! The pace of play was quite good for a Saturday & a full tee sheet. The carts could you use a deep cleaning as they were not at the same level of the other course we have played in the last 2 months.

The course was in great shape other than a few of the greens/TBoxes. The pace was appropriate for the time of day (morning).

The course is nice, shows it’s age a bit. Greens rolled true, had some burned out spots. Good experience playing.

The pace of play was really slow, nearly 5 hours to play 18 no marshal in sight all day. The starter was rude.

Course is mostly in decent shape and an interesting layout. But there is some damage to greens, rough, tees that needs fixing and detracts from the experience. Pins the day I played were in tough, sometimes unfair (on a slope) positions. Would be nice if there was a set of tees to play between the 6000 yard blues and 6700 golds. At a lower rate I’d recommend but felt overpriced for the $70 weekend/holiday rate.

Upon arrival at 8:30a the men's bathroom was filthy. I was the only person in the entire clubhouse wearing a facemask. I usually bring Clorox wipes but soon realized that the carts had not been cleaned from the previous days use! For obvious reasons my foursome requested and were willing to pay extra for individual carts. The staff adamantly refused and gave me a refund.

I play weekly at several courses in the Atlanta area and this was the first time I felt fearful of Covid 19 infection! This course was actually cleaner when I played here last year!!

Course was in relatively good shape. The only area's that triggered a semi negative thought for me where the conditions of the greens. Appeared they had been aerated not too long ago and they weren't rolling true. I wish this could have been disclosed prior to my booking of the round, so that I had the option to make other course choices. The other thing was the placement of some of the tee boxes. Had a few occassions where the tee box were placed on uneven ground, which made for some ball above your feet from the tee box. Outside of those things, the round was enjoyable.
