Sunny and Cold
A cold day. Paired up with great threesome. Very enjoyable round of golf. So many leaves resulting in no chance of finding a errant ball. Other than that, had a good round.

The course was ok
Have too many leaves in fairways and all greens, made it hard to find a golf ball in fairways, it was impossible to make a putt when your ball kept rolling over leaves.

Great Course
I golf all over Metro-Atlanta and I have to say, for a pubic course River Pines is a great one. Open Fairways, smooth greens, and well kept landscapes. They even have a 9 hole par 3 course that is a blast to warm up on as well. I will definitely be returning soon as it is the best course in my area. Only negative i would say is that 80 bucks a round is a little pricy, but everywhere is raising their green fees lately regardless. If you can get a tee time, try this one out!

Great Course
Great course well worth the 30 minute drive from where I’m staying while in Atlanta. Easy check in, range balls included, straightforward getting a cart and paired up with my playing partners for the day, and friendly starter on the first tee. The course is in gorgeous shape except for numerous un-repaired pitch marks on the greens (who does that?), but that wasn’t bad enough to seriously impact play. A definite must-play in the north Atlanta metro area. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

Greens need some work
I played last minute with my son. So it was nice we could get a tee time close to home. Fairways were fine. Greens are horrible. Nobody has replaced a divot in years…. They could do a better job of putting holes on greens where there is a putting surface. Instead most putts were over dead spots. For a public daily fee I guess that is about par for the course. We played the blacks since course is short. Couple of silly landing spots. Only going back in a pinch.

All good at this course
I'm not a course snob and not a very good player, so those who are may find this review not very credible. I visited for a weekend and wanted to get a quick round in before playing again on Saturday with the fellas. Everything about this course was great. It was a cart path only day because of the hurricane rains, so some parts of course was muddy. Greens were a bit sandy and highly treated (better than the alternative of not doing these things for a public high use course). I loved the hole layouts where you are forced to layup on several holes to avoid hazards and split fairways. Overall had a great time. Paired up with great people.

Great course- needs some love
Course was amazing overall but greens were a little rough and needed some repair. Bar and restaurant was closed on a Saturday which was odd but they still had a beer cooler available. Course attendant and driving range was great

Fun Course, few issues
Excellent ball strikers course, not overly long but you'll use all the clubs. Great shape tee to green. One issue with fairway bunker on 2..rake it, get the grass out or fill it in, issue with
7 and 17, overgrowth that surround the creek, you have got to cut that stuff down.. Excellent range/grill room//Pleasant employees it's a fun course.
