Challenging but fulfilling
There is no such thing as a flat lie at Heritage. Match that with some tough pin placements and you’re in for a fun filled day. Today was better than most as pace of play wasn’t an issue, it usually is…because the course is challenging and people refuse to play the appropriate tee box. If more people played the white tee, things would move along quicker and make the day more enjoyable for all
Great practice facility with larger greens, and multiple chipping areas. They get crowded though.
Unfortunately no one repairs their divots however not many are hitting the green with their approach shots so there’s that. Some of the tee boxes are more dirt than grass.
It’s a good over all course that is in good shape and will give you a challenge. Go early to avoid pace of play issues, move up a tee box and repair your divot!

Cart Path only
Due to lots of rain, course was very soggy. Normal for a river bottom course when it rains a lot. In addition it was a hot humid day. Takes the fun out of playing.

For the right price, good course
Good course, but it’s challenging if you’re just starting. Not too many holes you have line of sight to from tee box. When you can get it for around 55-65 then on a good day it’s worth it. Staff is great.

Showed up expecting the fairways and greens from the pictures, but it appeared like a bunch of farm animals stampeded just before I got there.
Never seen greens in such bad shape.

The best staff and an excellent course
I left my billfold in the cart and the management tracked me down for two days to get it back to me unscathed. I am definitely going to be back more in the future.
The course is very relaxing and the fairway and the green are in an excellent shape.
