Mothers day at RiverPines
Overall course was in good shape given time of year and greens were running quick, but true to form. Staff was very friendly from check-in to checking out and pace of play was probably best I have experienced in some time.

Less than 4 hours!
We played 18 holes of golf on a weekend in less than 4 hours! Unbelievable but very much appreciated. The course is slowly waking up from it's winter slumber, some tee boxes need a rest as grass needs to grow back in.

River Pines
Nice course. Greens were hard and fast. Ball would not check up. Other than that it is a nice course and fun to play.

Pga professional
Not a good practice facility. Should have posted conditions of the course online than I wouldn’t have chosen it as my practice facility fir upcoming pga tournament

Good golfing experience.
Course was in pretty good condition. Fairways were hard and the ball was really rolling out which made controlling it a challenge. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I will go back and play RiverPines again when I'm in the area.

Course has gotten a ton of play during COVID and is in very good shape all things considered. The people that work there are top notch. Excellent teachers for those looking to get help with their game.

Good Course but Expensive for what you get
The course is very nice and is was a fun and challenging place to play. But for the price, I would expect the course to be better taken care of, and nicer all around. The greens were super rough and had tons of debris on them.

OK
I’ve played this course of and on for almost 20 years, but it’s been more than 2 years since my last visit due as it’s become very crowded during COVID.. It’s a solid layout with a good practice area for warming up, but the conditions are usually just okay. On this occasion, the course was very hard and running fast, presumably as a result of the recent dry spell. While I generally like hard and fast, the tee boxes and some of the areas around the greens had little grass and getting a tee in the ground was extremely difficult. I had a very early time and there was not a starter at the first tee to advise our twosome if we were with the twosome on the tee or if our tee time was the next. I was an annual pass holder at this course and always enjoyed the course, but always thought it had the potential to be better. That basic assessment still stands.

Lots of character
Visiting the Atlanta area, I chose this course to take a friend golf and was not disappointed. Lots of character as each hole presents its own challenges. My only negative comment was that it was pretty hard & dry. I look forward to playing it during the summer with more grass and softer greens. Nevertheless, we had a good time and will definitely return.
PS The staff was very friendly and the practice areas were nice!!
