Always a fun little track to play. Greens are a little soft this time of year. They have adapted well to Covid.

Regular player at River Pines
The course design is fun and it’s great being by the river. The range is not great, but it’s fine for warming up and getting loose before a round. The staff is very friendly here. My only complaints are pace of play (the back 9 always gets jammed up) and the greens. The Bent grass does not hold up in the summer in my opinion. The greens become so soft and slow it can be frustrating at times. I still play here regularly, but would love to see them put in some Bermuda greens at some point.

Green and fairway grass need cares( fertilizer, water and cut)
MAIN COURSE FAIRWAY ARE ROUGH. NEED CARE. SAND TRAPS ARE WET.
PAR 3 COURSE GREEN ARE NG. MANY DEAD SPOT AND WEED.

river pines is a great public course in Johnscreek GA.

some of the teeboxes and greens were beat up but other than that the course was in decent shape considering the recent rain.

Extremely Rude Marshall
Went here the day of my wedding with 16 people, so we spent a little over $1,000 collectively before we even purchased any beer, which easily added another $300. The Marshall of the course was easily the most rude Marshall I’ve ever had. Was extremely rude because we were running 3 minutes late for one of our tee times, keep in mind we have the next 3 in a row, while everyone is getting off the driving range figuring out who we’re playing with and we’re getting rushed by the cart attendant who is getting an earful from the Marshall. We get to the first hole where we are “greeted” by the Marshall, and by greet I mean told were late and we need to “step on it” or we’re going to hold his 9:40am tee time up. This was said respectively in an extremely rude tone as were all standing there. It’s 9:13 at this time and we have all 12 of us at hole 1. Then we finish the game and since we tried to play a couple of holes together he decided to tell us since we can’t follow rules maybe we should tip the cart attendants a little more on the way out? Sorry to the cart attendants but you didn’t get a tip from me because of the way I was treated by your Marshall. Ridiculous.

Safety first
Course conditions are very playable. Did have lighting delay and course was closed for satiety. Then I stopped because of hard rain. Will be back to play again.
