First Time @ RiverPines
Good course and well organized in dealing with COVID-19 distancing needs. Course conditions were very good with the #6 fairway being restricted because of soft conditions but no real impact on playing the hole. Tee boxes in good shape with some attention on a few holes as can be expected. Practice areas in great condition with good options to prep for the round. Would and will return. Weekday round.
Checking courses around ATL
A recent new resident to the Atlanta area, have been checking some courses out and finally had an opportunity to play Riverpines ... course layout, staff and facilities are all very nice - Greens and the course in great shape
(Note: Played during social distancing criteria, so holes were wrapped in foam.. have played some other courses with better methods) however, would highly recommend it ...
Nice course but pace of play was slow
Pace of play due to walkers was very slow. Nice course to practice your golf game.
Considering all of the craziness with the virus the management was extremely cognizant of the golfing experience and went out of their way to make it a good day. Tee boxes were beat up and greens were slow but course in relatively good shape for this time of year and all the rain.
Great course
Definitely a good course. Greens are in great shape.
Course was in good shape and starting to turn green again. Solid pace of play and great staff members all around.
marshals NOT really there
The marshals are there but they do not pay attention to pace of play , they allowed a 5 some to walk and ride in front of us the entire day. No one said a word, probably a buddy and it was not OK. We finally left and made the note to NEVER play where they allow 5 people to slow the enitire course. They knew it.
Over booked tee time
Course in good shape. Pace of play good even though I was paired with 3 Seniors who played from senior tees do to overbooking my tee time. There were too many leaves on greens to making putting favorable on some holes. All in all good day playing and I will be back.
Overpriced for what you get
The course was in good condition, but there were far too many groups on the course which really backed up play. Tee times should be 10 minutes apart, not 8-9 minutes apart.
The course design has been artificially crammed into a limited footprint making the course too narrow to have much fun.
The course is worth about $35-$40, not $69, PLUS having to buy range balls.
On the plus side, their short game practice area is fantastic.
Course changed reserved tee time
GolfNow reservation was a foursome at 10:40. We arrived early to learn course had put twosome in our spot and bumped us to 11:10.

I visit family in Atlanta every year. I have played here before & have found it to be an enjoyable course.
Greens were very good for a public course.

Always Good
Fairways and greens are in great shape. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pace of play today was pretty good at just over 4 hours. Practice facility always in good condition. This course is challenging but fair; fairways are fairly open; minimum number of blind shots required. A great layout that is well-kept and always fun to play.

Great shape as always.
Very inconsistent on enforcing speed of play. Some days they move it along and some days they don’t. But this is a minor inconvenience when weighed against course conditions and staff friendliness.
