Little Gem
This is a challenging little course great for the money. The greens are challenging only because they are so small. If you can score here you can score anywhere.
course
The fairways are not too challenging but the traps are placed to protect the greens. Greens are small but not too fast. Great condition and enjoyable
Great course
I love this course. It offers the right amount of difficulty for every level of player. The greens are hard and fast, which can take some time to get use to, but they are in incredible shape which makes playing on them a pleasure. The rough is thick enough to make a shot out of there a little tricky, but not so thick that you lose balls three yards off the fairway. If you are there to play a round of golf on a great course this is the place for you. However, if you are looking for great amenities off the course you might want to go elsewhere.
Bring your long iron game!
At just over 6,000 yards from the tips and tree lined fairways you’re gonna want to leave the driver in the bag and as I learned the hard way it’s all about getting your tee shot in the fairway. Greens are small but smooth, rolling reasonably quick and true. So leave the big dog on his leash with the exception of a couple of par 5’s. The roughs will eat your ball for lunch and your gonna want to develope a cut shot if you don’t have one already. Overall I had a fun time navigating the course and will change my strategy off the tee next time. Would recommend for sure!
Great drive, chip, putt for the expense
We pretty much had the course to ourselves and made the most of it. No frills, but excellent value. Greens were in very good shape for this time of year. Plan to make it back again when visiting family in this area
great course, the greens are perfect and are very fast
Nice course
This is a nice little course that is well maintained. The greens are very small but challenging anyway due to the rolling terrain. When we were there one of holes, hole 14 I think, was closed. Also, the tee boxes for the par 3's were being re-sodded. None-the-less, it was an enjoyable round with surprisingly few people for a Friday.
Course to manage
I love playing this course. It is different and challenging. I especially enjoyed playing this last time since my daughter played with me. I look forward to playing it again soon!
very good
the fairways are great and the greens are even better. the fair ways are WIDE open
The greens are in great shape.
The course is well maintained by a courteous staff the fairways are are great and the greens are almost excellent
So So Course
Played this course for first time and wondered why it was open. The layout was good and the course was also good but there were two holes the were'nt. The ninth hole was recently converted to a par 3 with very little signage how to find it. The fourteenth hole was closed for rebuilding a drainage problem. The signs posted said to bipass it and if I wanted to play 18 holes to either replay #18 or #9. I would like to revisit in the future to play again when repairs are complete.
This is a beautiful course
I really enjoyed playing Griffin Bell Links. This is a beautiful course & very well maintained. The staff is very friendly & helpful. I will be playing a lot of golf on this course.
