Nothing to write home about but pace was fantastic. It is a great place to brush up your game or refine it for under $50.
Use your GPS app! You’ll need it or you might be playing into 10s green from the first tee. The greens are well serviceable. The tee boxes are the same. The biggest thing is it’s an open course with very little rough or traps to worry about. Great for a beginner or game refinement. The best part is it was under $50 and pace of play was quicker than those $140 tee times.
Fun
Some of the greens were in bad shape, but all in all a nice course to start the season
Flat course in North Georgia
Enjoyed my round here but bring several balls. Many leaves in the fairways and difficult to locate your drives. Folks are super nice and I will return.
Calhoun elks
For 25 bucks to play 18 it’s well worth the money nicer than any other course I’ve been too for that much
Great for the price
I was pleasantly surprised by this course. I had low expectations but course overall was in good conditions sure the greens could use some work but for that price you can’t beat it. Also the staff was very friendly even gave me and my brother a 12 pack for our round.
Nice place to Enjoy
I love this place.
It's quite cheap to play. It's cheap so field condition is not perfect. Anyway it's cheaper than ever compare to other place. free hotdog as well.
Great staff
Country like course settings.. very friendly staff and makes u feel like home. When I told them I am from London Canada and just driving through , they said thanks for visiting us... Thank you for the hospitality
Good price
It’s old course but price is good to play.
Don’t expect good quality but it’s quite good course.
A couple of the greens had bad spots but still rolled good .The group of 2 in front of me was slow and spent more time looking for there ball and riding around in circles I finally just skipped 2 holes on the front and finished up when I was done but course is great for the money probably play again next week
The Review
Overall good experience. Very good for beginners or just your average day out swinging the clubs
Fun short course
The good: extremely good value. You can come out and play at your own pace fast or slow. Fun layout and has challenges.
The bad: do not hit it in the rough and the fairways are almost as thick. It looks like they spend time trying to cut it but that thick bermuda will eat your golf ball and it’s a 50/50 shot at finding it. Greens need work but roll just fine.
Not really a fairway
It was a fun course to play, however, the fairway was not really distinguishable from what you would consider the rough. Loved the vending machine in the pro shop! All in all, I would recommend for a lower cost round with good pace of play
