Woodland Hills Golf Club

If you’re expecting a 5/5 putting surface this may not be the course for you. The layout is great but the turf is lack luster. The did sod a bunch of areas so that’s a plus. If you get a “hot deal on the course” I recommend it price is fair then but not worth 45-50 depending on tee time. I enjoyed it regardless of the conditions. Though expect to be behind slow golfers….

My son and his buddy were running late for our tee time. The starter was very understanding and told me not a problem to tee off when he arrived. Challenging course great greens and welcoming staff!

Greens are immaculate. White tee boxes are roast. Rest look pretty good. There was a ranger on the course but we waited on every hole but one. Played just under five hours but easily could have been better. Not a bad price for the round, so value is there.

When the guy at the counter tells you there is no way you will finish 9 holes in four hours, it isn't going to be a good start. But he didn't need to add that we better be out of his parking lot by 8:15. You would think with the amount of people that they pack into this place they would clean their carts before giving them back out, guess not. As we got to know the two to three groups ahead of us, because every tee box was a 10-15 minute wait, it was explained that this was the norm for this facility. Long story short, the course was maintained as well as their carts, minimum effort.

Excellent course very difficult Marshals did there best but pace of play was very slow.

The course appears to be coming along, but needs some work with bare fairways and overgrown tee boxes.
