Woodland Hills Golf Club

Pace of play is always an issue here and this time was no exception, but this was my first time playing an early afternoon tee time and the pace was worse than normal. In addition, one of our playing partners had to wait over 15 minutes to get a parking space. They do not employ a beverage cart, so we waited on two groups at the turn, presumably because they went in to get food and drink after the front nine. Finally, the clubhouse was closed by the time we finished at 5:45, so we had to go elsewhere for our normal post-round routine. Decent course, but be aware of the above.

This course was a great deal today. Friendly staff

The tee boxes were in poor condition, uneven, inconsistent, and many had tall grass. Greens were inconsistent in grass height, full of sand, and had dead spots. Wouldn’t play again even if it was $20. Golf is hard enough. I don’t need the course conditions to make it any harder.

Greens had and were being punched. Tee boxes were good. Fairways were bare and wet ( winter spring I am sure) should be better in a month. Sand was not good.

Unfortunately it was cartpath only. Not as much fun but still a great course. My first time playing there. I will be back.

Course played nice, greens were a bit bumpy with weeds.
