Woodland Hills Golf Club

This is a good course that we have played several times. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the course is fun!

The course is challenging even from the white tees. There were many dirt spots in fairways, but overall, course is great.

If you don’t like hills, this isn’t the course for you. Deceptively difficult, but satisfying. Staff was super friendly, and the course was in good shape. If you can’t drive the ball 200 yards, you’re out of luck on most of the longer holes as there are deep valleys you must avoid. But I’d totally play here again, good course.

Course was in nice shape and offered many challenges. Lots of elevation change and dog leg drives. The trees dont play much of an issue but their are some water hazards to look out for. I wish their were better hole descriptions or placards at the holes to show lay out, because if you are not familiar with the course then there are a few holes where you will need to lay up just learn the lay out. Pace of play today was the worst Ive ever seen. It took over 5 hours to finish a round with no break at the turn. Marshall didnt seem to do much to speed up play.

Conditions: Overcast and 70* with lots of wind throughout the round.

Layout: This course is short so accuracy here can help you score really low! However, knowing where to hit it can be a 10 stroke game changer! Fist time playing this course and multiple "great shots" were awesome I til you went over a hill or down a path where you were in a bad spot.

Greens: Greens were not perfect but on point for a public course, a little hard, a little rough, and a little slower than what you would find on a private track (8-9 on the stimpmeter)

Overall, great course for the money, and will definitely get back here again now that I have played it once!

Lots of elevation changes. Some forced carries over water. Over all a fair test. Lots of chances for friendly bounces with the fairways following natural valley terrain.

This is an excellent course, they keep it in amazing shape. It tough but fair. I have played here a few times and every time it’s challenging to me. Have Fun

The round yesterday took nearly 5 hours! Ridiculous for a Wednesday afternoon and nobody ever came around to speed up the slow groups. Other than that, course was in great shape. Woodland is always a nice track to play, but I've never seen it as slow as it was yesterday!

Woodland was great as always. The fairways are really greening up and coming in nicely. The bunkers were in really good condition and the greens ran true. Maybe a touch on the slow side from what I'm used to, but I got it dialed in on the back nine! I love this course, the staff is friendly and I seem to play it well. And only a 7-minute ride from home, I will be back often!

The course was in poor condition. The fairways were hard, dry and dead. The greens were 1/2 as small as a “normal” golf course. Not to mention that they were extremely slow and VERY poorly maintained. One of the worst golf courses I have ever played. Would not come back even if it was free.

First three holes are....well I don't know what they are. Conditions not great, the size, shape and conditions of the greens...call it nanny goat golf. The layout was weird, but the ranger was super nice and the views are awesome.

This is a awesome course. Bring your A game. Fast greens, tight fairways.

Very nice course, especially for the price. A few quirky holes but well maintained course, fun and fair.
