A Challenging Course
Loved the elevational change, slope, hazards and course layout. The elements make this course challenging and exciting.
Good value - Good course
Was busy, pace of play a little slow....but that what usually happens on wee
Sunday outing
A beautiful day foe golf and overall course is in good shape, though inconsistent green conditions were evident. Is still a great place to play and found ALL staff to be friendly & helpful
Fantastic
This course has 3 major qualities I notice before I even arrived on the property. First and foremost, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! SECONDLY, Price was reasonable, for the distance I drove,(hour). Finally, The layout was very playable for any level of golfer. Definitely will b returning!
WH
Greens on front nine a little sketchy. Many have dead spots, making putting difficult if you have to traverse one of those spots. Back nine greens better. Course is a little dried out, I saw maintenance workers that seemed to be working on sprinkler system, so maybe that is the problem. Can get crowded, especially on back nine. Staff always very friendly.
One of my faves!
Woodland Hills has definitely become my home track, seeing as how I only live 7 minutes away. It's a fun track, for an affordable price. The staff is always very friendly and treat you like a member. The range is nice and the putting greens run true to what you will face on the course. Shot making is a premium here, as there are some narrow fairways and the greens are a little smaller than most places, but I like the challenge. You will use every club in your bag, as there are a couple of quirky holes, but that's another aspect I like. At only a little over 6,400 from the tips, you would think you could overpower the course, but instead, you have to think about how to attack each hole. With good drives, 3 of the 4 par 5s are reachable. But the par 3s are tough. From a 160 yd shot uphill at #3, to a tough 160 yd downhill through a skinny shoot at #8 (toughest hole in my opinion), to 225 yds over a Valley at #12, 170 yds completely over water at #14 and a tougher than it looks 180 yd shot at #16, they have one of the most challenging sets of par 3s around. The pace of play is great and I've met some really nice golfers when I've signed up for a solo round. This us a great course for a wonderful price. I will be back often!
Great staff and nice course
Played Woodland Hills for the first time with my kids. Checked in and the staff was very friendly and told us where everything was as it was our first time there. Course was in good shape. Definitely need to bring your shot shaping skills to go low. Had a great time!
Woodland Hills GC - Excellent Layout
Course is very well maintained, challenging par 3’s. Greens well kept,
A hidden Jewel of a course !
Great Staff and course marshals !
Can’t wait to set up next tee time...
Nice course, good value
Interesting and challenging course to play. We weekend unlucky and got stuck behind a group that took 5+ hours to complete the course.
Best value in Atlanta area
I love this course. Every time I play it I love it. Friendly staff.Extremely well maintained. Challenging but fair. Never overly crowded. I played on a Sunday and the pace of play is what I expected. ABout a 4.5 hour round. If you like playing speed golf or don't actually have time to play a round of golf then... I hope you go somewhere else. This course is relaxed enough to actually enjoy your golf round. I can't say enough about how happy I am that I found this place. My buddies absolutely agree as well.
Needs improvement
The front nine was not in good shape. Greens were poor. Back nine improved. Nice layout and very hilly. Some blind shots. Tough playing the first time. Fairways were in decent condition. Staff friendly. Reminded me of Lake Arrowhead course. Probably wont return.
