Tough Conditions

This was probably the worst condition I have seen WH in quite awhile. They usually keep the course in good shape, but today was surprisingly disappointing. Many tee boxes were dried out, with sparse grass, and hard dirt. Fairways were green, but very firm (a plus for us short-hitters), and some approach shots were off of hard pan. No watering noticed while I was there, which is unusual for WH. Greens were the biggest disappointment. Most had numerous brown patches, and surface was quite bumpy. On the plus side, the staff at WH is always professional and very courteous. Hopefully they can repair the greens, and water some of the dry areas.

Greens

I've played this course hundreds of times over the yrs. The greens weren't in good shape. Lots of dead spots, very bumpy. I don't remember it being this tough on the greens. Kind of my home course since I'm a local, but may have to venture out elsewhere until the greens are corrected.

Solid all around

First time playing and really enjoyed it. Not a long course but forces you to use every club in your bag. Marshall’s were very friendly as well as clubhouse staff. Will play again.

Fun course

I think the layout of the course is fun and challenging. The condition of the course is great, but I do think the greens need some work to be consistent speeds throughout all 18 holes. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I’ll be back!

Good course overall

Although we got stuck behind a really slow group, we had a good day on the course. Layout is challenging but fun, seems greens were aerated sometime recently, and they are bumpy still but good shape. We'll be back to play again. The staff was super nice though!!
