Goat ranch
Coir keeps getting worse every year. Sad to see because the layout is great and it’s a challenging course. But it is not well kept by any means.
Balmoral Spring Play
Nice course but the greens need to be rolled due to all the worm holes and ... We got there early but had to wait for our tee time to go. We will play there again
Well, blow me down!
Always a fun and challenging course. Winds were 20 MPH making scoring tough. Lady at counter told us the green fee was lower than on-line and gave discount. She should get a raise. We'll be back---but probably wait until next season.
Challenging course
This course has numerous holes that challenge your course management skills. Several holes have blind tee shots that can hamper your next shot. The course was in good condition, but there were several areas on the fairways that were in need of repair. Overall, the course was very playable.
Conditions
Chicago area has rough weather. Place still in good shape. Their maintenance crew is the best
Greens need help
We had a perfect day to play. We haven’t had rain in quite awhile and the course played firm and fast! The greens were the only thing that needed help! Although they ran fast there was a fungal disease that left a ton of pock marks all over each and every green. So if you had to putt through any of it your balls would wobble, bounce and change direction! Missed a few putts bc of that. It’s unfortunate that they didn’t address the problem earlier in the season. They have the Will County Senior there this weekend. There will be a lot of people that will be disappointed in the conditions of the greens.
Fun Course
It’s a 90 minute drive for me, but certainly worth it. Interesting and varied layout. Stay on the fairway as most of the homeowners have clearly posted their yards are private property!
Weekend
Slow play, Saturday, no rangers, to keep pace of play. . Had to wait on every shot on back nine had two foursome on every tee box.
Pretty Good Except for Greens
Greens were in rough shape. Seems like disease or something is going on. Course is a nice challenge. Staff was good.
Great course poor greens
To bad the greens are always fuzzy for the last 3-4 times I been there. Best track in south suburbs! But the greens have to get straightened out and cut down. Nice places roll out and stick!!
