Another Great Round at Red Tail!
This course is a gem in the NW Burbs! It’s well maintained and the clubhouse staff are outstanding!

Another great day at Red Tail!
Since we’re able to play during COVID day. It was a treat to get out with great weather to boot! Red Tail is an outstanding facility, in an area with a lot of great golf options. Check it out!

Nice track and friendly staff
Called the course to get on earlier since rain was coming in the afternoon.
Front desk was very helpful and got us on an hour earlier that helped on a cool day that turned rainy at the end.

Great place to play
I have played many courses this season ‘19 and haven’t come across Greens in this good of shape. Hats off to the grounds crew

Much more than I expected
Awesome course out in a very natural setting. Felt like a top notch, super expensive course once you get out there. Long and legit, fun to hit driver as far as you can on many holes. Challenging in the right ways (no gimmicky greens and pins). #8 is a cool downhill par 3. Will be back soon with friends.

S-L-O-W
To allow a five-some is beyond my understanding. 12th hole, 2-some on the tee box and 2 guys waiting? Where is your ranger? Had to follow 2 2somes for 7 holes, a ranger should have made the 2 2-somes play TOGETHER! Other than this, course was nice.

Great conditions after a great deal of rain.
We had a lot of rain the previous few days. Although the rough was thick, course played very well. Fairways and greens were cut meticulously, ground was soft but not to squishy due to the rain.
Staff was working feverishly to remedy the bunkers.
Greens ran very true and were ale to hold shots coming in from the fairway / rough.

Shaggy greens
I played the course twice In 3 days. I really like the layout and the people who worked there. I played 5 -6 times a year at this course. The greens were way too long I know they hadn't been cut from Sunday till Tuesday. Not good the grass was growi9from edges into the cup. Pretty frustrating trying to get a feel for how the greens were rolling.

Nice but.....
Very nice fun layout but the traps are substandard. Very little sand and not properly groomed.

Hot dry day
Course was in good shape. Hasn’t rained in a while so the ground was hard but greens were in good shape. Good value for the money.

Better Rates
Great course for the money but the two-some we played with paid the course directly for the same rate we received through golf now, only they saved the $5 golfnow fee so check course rates first.
