Another great round at RedTail
We played 18 holes, mid Saturday morning, in 3:55 - even stopping at the turn to grab a brat. Their call/text-ahead order service worked great, and kept us moving.
The course is in outstanding shape, given all the storms and rains we’ve dealt with this late spring. The staff is wonderful! With Ambassador/Rangers keeping the pace of play moving well. The refreshment cart and ample water holes were welcomed with a humid, upper 80’s day!
If you haven’t tried RedTail and are thinking about it, do it.
Another Great Round at an Outstanding Venue!
Had my best round of the year on Father’s Day at Red Tail. The course was in outstanding condition, despite all the recent rain.
Pace of play was well maintained by the “Ambassador,” who was great to speak with. We weren’t rushed or held up unreasonably. It made for a nice day!

not much support for handicapped people
I would like to give the course a better rating,but several amenities are lacking.The cart paths are sorely in need of repair.Go real slow or risk a bad back.There was absolutely no drinking water onthe course.The containers are there,but there were no water jugs.Because of the alarms on the cart gps,us handicapped people can't get close enough to the greens.That means too much walking.The course is fine,but some of these issues have been going on for a long time.

Great Course
The course was in pretty good shape considering all the rain we've had (8.5 inches in May). A couple holes were wet and it was cart path only. Cart path only contributed to slow play more than the pace of others.
A hot deal here is a steal!

Redtail golf course

Elevations rule!
I consider Red Tail one of the top public courses in the area because it’s verying elevations, interesting water hazards, and well-kept turf. The cart paths could use some work but overall an excellent course.

Great course, course offers golf holes for all golfers low handicap to high.
We Love playing here. The course is great and the staff is wonderful.
rangers ruined this course
The rangers will follow you throughout your round and pester you about times even if you never hold anyone up. VERY annoying!!!! These guys would lurk around the tee boxes and greens. They would start up their carts during our swings. Truely rediculous! The final straw was when the ranger comes up to us and complains about our pace. 2 of us made birdies on the hole and 1 guy struggled but hey we play ready golf and are always aware if we are backing anyone up. This isn't the PGA tour and this course isn't Medina!
great staff
play early less hacks playing golf.. greens beat up after 2 pm. people dont repair divots on green.. many golfers who pay by gof now think they don't have to play with single players..Lakewood needs to fix problem.
