Pine Hills Country Club

The layout of this course is so good. It has the potential to be the best course in South Georgia if they’d just spend some money to get it in tip top shape. It’s sad to see what it has become. The greens are non existent, it’s just dirt with splotches of grass. Thankfully through the app it only cost $20 to play cause with greens like that it isn’t worth any more than that.

The course layout is fun and unique so it has lots of potential. The course looks like it was abandoned and they are trying to get it going again. Greens and bunkers are pretty rough. They need signage between several holes bc you get lost as you cross roads. Holes around the pond off interstate were pretty cool.

The course continues to undergo changes as new management is slowly trying to make positive improvements. So much could be done to improve this course but there tends to be not enough finances for owners to put into the course.

Would love to see the water areas cut down and kept trimmed instead of weeds and bushes which give aid to crawling critters. The greens continue to need help as those have been a staple eyesore under other owners. The sand traps…who knows what the deal is with this them.

Overall, the potential continues for this place if there was enough help and equipment to maintain its overall appearance.

I like the layout and I’m glad I gave the course of try. Fairways were fairly consistent. Tea boxes and greens were hit or miss. I was encouraged that repair work was being done on bridges and think the course could move a notch higher with just a little work. I was very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the young gentlemen at the clubhouse.

The course conditions have improved since last time I played. The greens, although bumpy were consistent. The bunkers need sand. If you have given up on the course, I recommend you give it another shot. It appears that they are at least out working on the course trying to improve it.

Played here today with the wife and it cost 36 for both of us. They seem to be working hard trying to get this course back like it was. Fairways were good, greens still need work but they’ve come a long way from what they were because before they weren’t even a green. Bunkers are in awful shape so we piulled out of those. The young man working was super nice and friendly

Greens were in horrendous condition, more patches than actual green on most holes. The fairways blend into the greens, if it wasn’t for the flag stick you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. I paid for 18 and only ended up playing 9! Definitely not worth playing but I guess for what I paid through the GN app I can’t complain. It wouldn’t be hard to make this course likable, I feel like they just don’t care to do it!

Very good place. They have New Management and are improving the course every day. Check it out.

Highly recommend, best I’ve seen the course in a long time.

This course has a lot of potential, and I feel the Owners are moving it in the right direction.

That being said, I have to be honest in my review.

Second hole is goose city, there are droppings and feather everywhere, but most especially the green. That aside the next issue is driving on the waterlogged fairways especially close to the greens.

Overall the greens were in good shape when the weather is taken into consideration.

Fairways and tee boxes are acceptable, again weather being considered.

Course layout is great with scoreable par 3’s and short par 4’s. The 6th and 18 tee shots are over water and extremely tight, adding a nice challenge for all golfers.

I have high hopes for the new owners, and staff.

I think I will give it a few weeks and play it again.

If I continue to see progress I will put this course into my course rotation.

not much of clubhouse, one person working, had to go out to range to get balls, others there parked carts on driving range tees, and along side of greens. The course layout was good, had some interesting holes, but I wouldn't go back.

Very challenging but well laid out course! Always a friendly and accommodating staff! This is a hidden jewel just off I-75. Well worth your visit!! I received a "Hot Deal" price of $10.00 + tax and process fee through GolfNow.com. Came under $15.00 a player. Can't beat that!!
