Short but fun, helps to build your confidence. Open fairways.
Small city course
It is a short course. Obviously not a lot of time spent maintaining it other than cutting the grass. The greens are small but in decent shape. The fairways are ok. The carts are nice and in great shape. The staff was friendly. It's worth the hot deal price to play a new course one time.
One of my Favorites
Course is in great shape right now. Pace of play is always good. Friendly staff adds to the bargain.
Good day of golf
Super friendly staff, fun course is pretty good shape. Greens are challenging
Forsyth Golf Course
Haven’t played this course in years, played it yesterday course was in good condition, really enjoyed it !
In winter condition
The greens are still in winter condition. They are making efforts to improve this course. A new pond added since last year. Some places they have been cleaning up the overgrown areas. It’s a hilly little course that’s good to play to keep your game sharp.
Great Course
This was a great deal. The only issue that we had with this course was that there were a few holes closed. They did make it up by letting us play holes 1-3 again. It is understandable because middle Georgia has had so much rain recently. Other than that it was a great course.
Great Value
Perfect place to practice/work on your game. The course is fair and has a nice combination of manageable and challenging holes. The greens are rather slow and take some getting used to, but play about the same for all 18. Only negative on the day is that the grass is cut a bit high which made finding some well-hit balls difficult. Will definitely be back to play again.
Things are going downhill
I play here about once a month and I've noticed over the past year things have started to slip. This time last year the course was beautiful, despite having much less rain. With the water we've had this season the course should be unbelievable, but what's unbelievable is the lack of maintenance it's receiving. The bahiagrass is ridiculous and makes finding balls in the rough nearly impossible, even just a couple of feet from the fairway. Seriously, you'd think they were preparing for the U.S. Open. As for the fairways themselves, you're lucky if you don't end up in a pile of clippings when you streak one down the middle. This tells me they're either not cutting often enough, or using the wrong type of mower. Either way, they obviously don't care to reward players for good tee shots. When you do reach the green it's like putting through cement, except for the crown greens which they apparently cross bred with Teflon. The bridge leading to the 12th hole feels like it's about to collapse. I hold my breath every time I cross it, praying I'm not the one that has to sue the city/county. The only reason I keep playing here is that I can get a Hot Deal from GolfNow for around $10. Today, however, I definitely overpaid.
Short course with small greens
Many short par 4s and 5s mange you feel like a long hitter, but the tiny greens make up for it. Several greens look like the surface of the moon, so we played a maximum of 2 putts to make up for the bouncing and zigzagging of the ball. Not worth $25 during the week.
Great golf for the money
Had a great time playing. The pace was pretty good for most of the course.
People were really nice and encourages returning customers. Having a nice staff makes it worth returning. Course is still in dormant conditions due to cold and wet weather. First 7 greens were in bad shape, however it shaped up on the back. Will go back once the weather get's warms up. Was a good trip.
Old School Course in an old town setting
I like playing here it brings me back in time when things were simple. Very good course to hone in your skills. Greens are small but are true and fast.
Great value
Generous fairways, moderately hilly, quick and challenging greens. Great course for the money
