Green Garden - Great shape in 2020
I played today on the Green Garden Gold course for the first time in 2020 (I played it in past years). The course was in fantastic condition! It was 92 degrees today with a slight breeze, so conditions to play were fine. I like how they cut the grass in the rough low enpugh to find your balls quickly.
Really like the Gold course. Good challenge for a mid-handicapper. Island green 10th hole, 6-8 is a fun stretch of short par 4s, and the drive on 18 is always a challenge.
Staff is friendly.
Course can take on water, so be careful booking after heavy rains.
The course was awesome . Can’t wait to go back and play the course again. Forty five holes , we played the gold course with my son. Challenging and course well taken care off. Staff was great . Getting a group to go out there .
Fun course
It’s always fun playing green gardens. Unfortunately it was extremely wet. But it was still nice to get outside and play golf.
The Gold standard
The Gold course is my favorite course of all the Green gardens courses since it's the most challenging. It has an island green par 5 on top of having and abundance of fescue grass, water and sand to challenge any golfer. There is 4 tee box options so you can choose how much of a challenge you want to bite off.
Green Garden A+++
Green Garden is a very nice golf course. It’s very well maintained and with 45 holes, it offers 3 respective courses. (2) 18 hole courses and (1) 9 hole course. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking for a challenging yet very clean golf course.
Very nice golf course and club house.
Golf course in great shape but when I asked a question regarding the time with female staffer it took a while for her to udder a word. Everyone else was very nice.
Good round
Nothing much to complain about here. Course in great shape. Only complaint would be no beverage cart (we did play morning round) and the halfway house was closed so we were out of luck for a beverage of any kind.
Nice value
As always green garden is a great value. Course was in great shape considering all the rain. Played gold course and although I prefer blue this was still great. Played in 3.5 hours. Flew through. Will be back!
Gold Course
I’ve just started playing this club.
Amenities are excellent, course in great shape, really enjoyable round
Great course
Best course I played this year! Great shape, fast greens and challenging layout but best of all affordable price for weekend golf!!
New superintendent = great conditions
Played here a year ago, it was fun n I enjoyed the layout but I heard the owner got a new superintendent and it has really paid dividends. The golf course is in excellent shape, fairways and greens we're pristine. We liked it so much we decided to play the emerald course too (the nine hole course) which was in a good shape and had a true links feel to it. Great experience overall. Staff was great and friendly too. I definitely recommend checking this place out.
Great course
To be honest the first time I played this course was about 2-3 years ago and I was so disappointed. However the course to my understanding has been under new management and WOW! The course especially for the money is a gem! My only complaint would be they do not have sand on the par 3’s to fix divots. With the great transformation the course has had I’m sure all golfers would love to help keep improving. If you haven’t played here or it’s been awhile do yourself the favor and go enjoy a round
Great value
Course was in great shape and great value for the price. Only issue was bunkers had standing water but other than that course played well
Great condition
The course was in great condition, greens were in good shape we have had a lot rain in June but they have done a good job of getting the course ready for play!
