Great pace of play
Very barren terrain, with hardly any trees, compared to other courses in the area. Kind of boring/flat.
The fairways/greens are decent
The cart paths were REALLY bad
Hardly any food options, midday on a Sunday. The poor pro shop guy (really nice) was there by himself and had to make a few hot dogs for us, get our drinks, etc, all while, ya know, being the only pro shop guy too
For the amount paid to play here, I was not impressed at all. The course is ok, not horrible or anything, but I would expect a lot more, for the money paid to play here
Good but rushed
Overall a nice course. The starter wasn't pacing out the groups and a group behind played into us nearly the whole round. There was a group in front of us that we were keeping pace with. Our tee time was 8:04am and we were on the 1st green at 8:09am and the group behind us was already hitting into us.
Would have enjoyed the experience much more if the starter had been more on top of the start times.
Great course
This course was in great shape, even though it rained. I couldn’t believe how well it was maintained. Because it rained today, I went to hit some balls at the dome, decided to try this course, and am I glad I did. I will definitely be going back. Fairways were in amazing shape, as were the greens.
Greens man no golf etiquette
The Greensman was in the way and too close at times while playing. Course layout is dangerously close to other holes.
I was blown away with how great the greens were! Course is in maybe the best condition I’ve played and I have been playing here for about 5 years. Some tee boxes could use a little love and please put some sand in the traps and my goodness a GEM!
Sweetness
Beat course ive ever played anywhere around chicago south burbs. Will make it a regular from now on!!
Some Etiquette
Always good , staff and course. Need more golf
etiquette from some of the groups golfing.
The Blues
The course and staff were fantastic.
A golfer, (he said he was a golf coach) and his companion did not play safely or follow golf etiquette, as their drives and/or fare way shots came within 15 yards of our position on three separate occasions.
We waited, some words were exchanged and they moved on to the next hole.
This incident, in no way is a reflection on the course or staff. Rather, a reminder to players to be observant while playing.
