Good Course - Not So Good Experience
Course layout and conditions were good, however the pace of play was terrible! We had to wait “in line” from tee to tee on the back 9 for 10+minutes.
The starter was rude when we arrived to head off to the 1st tee...(but friendly to the group in front of us, who he allowed to play on the Blue course even though they booked to play the Gold course). No one ever came around patrolling the course or pace of play.
Good Course, but be alert
Course was in good shape, weather was outstanding and as such it was packed on a Saturday morning. First time playing there so was not familiar with the layout going in. Quite a few holes have the Blue and Gold sides playing with/at each other so you have to be aware at who's hitting and from where. Heard a guy yell out from another hole that he "got hit" by an errant shot, hopefully it was a Titleist! Pace was a little slow but it was such a nice day it's to be expected. Overall happy, would play again
Nice condition
The blue course was a challenge on the backside but the course was in great shape and was a really fun time.
Solid course
I’ve played here a few times on the blue and gold courses. Challenging enough without being crazy. The greens will test your putter with movement and elevation. Perfect for a beginner-intermediate golfer.
winter golf
Green Gardens keeps the blue course open all winter long and is great when unusually warm weather hits Chicago area. The course was clear of leaves and rough was short enough that finding balls was easy. The staff is great and having the dome for warming up before heading out is a real bonus in the winter.
Gg blue course
Course was in great shape. Great value for money. Enjoyed it more than gold and I enjoyed the gold plenty
One thing is poor maintenance the grass was not cut and the car patches where bad shape and no good way to go to the next hole and the gateways where sport it was that bad bad bad it suck.
Nice Track
I played the Blue Course, weather was perfect, some slow players on the first 12 holes then it cleared up. Course in great condition, fairways and greens excellent, rough is tough and wet. overall a great day.
Great conditions!
Course is playing nice. Good value and pace of play was great.
Rainy day
Course was in very good shape for wet conditions. I play this course a few times a year. $26 for 18 w/cart is a good deal. Pace of play was great. Rain kept many people away. The blue has a more traditional lay out than the gold. The gold has more gimmicky holes which are fun the first couple times playing them. The bar inside is good for after your round. Golf dome is also nice for a warm up before play. I would like to play the emerald course more but it never seems to be open. I would recommend playing this course St twilight tee times but not sure I would pay premium prices to play.
Love.. love this course
It appears the new management is not very flexible ... rain.. no rain check... 5 min late.. pay extra over online rate! I still love the course! Hope I don’t have to find another favorite???
Speak English your a bad golfer you troll!!!!
