Fun course!
Enjoy the challenges each hole has. Some greens were beat up but I’m sure they’ll be handled
Tight and Awesome course!
Hey this was a challenging track first time around and a really nice way to spend a Saturday. Staff was friendly and greens were good. Very receptive. Will play here again! Bring your straight balls….the crooked ones all get lost.
I won’t be playing here again
I’ve played this course a ton in the past. While it wasn’t the nicest course, it was a decent one that was well worth the money. Played it for the first time ina while, and the course itself was in poor shape. Many of the tee boxes were spotty and tough to find a patch of grass to tee off on. Many of the fairways were unkept, and so were the greens. I will not be playing here again.
Great value & challenge
I grew up playing this course. I haven’t played it in a long while and just got back out last weekend. I’ll say it’s still one of my favorite tracks to play.
The course layout is fun and unforgiving. Narrow fairways, slopes and hazards everywhere. The greens were in good shape when we played - rolled true. Definitely soft from the recent rain, which was a blessing given the overall challenge of the course. Pick your spots to use your driver - an iron or hybrid off the tee is often the way to go.
Pace of play was great. We got around in about 3 1/2 hours with a 20 minute delay during some particularly heavy rain.
A few muddy spots here and there, and the sand traps were hard packed and wet.
A lot of the yardage markers are grown over with weeds and grass, which isn’t great to see. The beverage cart was MIA, and that was also a bummer…
Staff were professional and excellent.
Overall, a great value and challenge. I’ll certainly be back. Might have to pack my own drinks though…
Good course
The course was pretty decent. There was a bit of a backlog at the starter, but after a few holes it opened up. I think the value was a little high for the type of golf course. Having said that, I would definitely play it again.
Tight course, well maintained. Greens had a lot of ball marks but otherwise great shape. Challenging but not very difficult
Great value and challenge
I have been playing here more often as of late. There are some areas of need on the fairways but have improved and have greened up nicely. The greens are in great shape and there are some challenging holes to test your decision making to go for it or lay up. The staff is great and have been making improvements throughout the course and range. Pretty good food in the club house also with great view of 18th island green. (18 is 500 yard par 5 with island green. 300 off the tee and you still have a 200 yard downhill shot to the green). Good luck. Plus the have discounts for military and first responders.
Great Time
Pace of play was very slow for the first 11-12 holes, but outside of that no complaints at all. Staff was friendly, course was in good shape (especially the greens) Holes are challenging with only a few exceptions..
Creekside
Staff always friendly. Not sure how this course will hold up as the heat rises. I have never seen any watering of fairways (don't think they have a sprinkler system). Fairways are green, yet that is deceiving. Your drive will kick up a puff of dust as it lands on the runway-hard surface. Lots of rollout, which may help or hurt your result. Tee boxes fair (inconsistent surface), bunkers dried out and lack sand. Greens still good, a little on the firm side. Cart path in need of repair in many places, tree/shrub cutting needed along cart path in some spots. Overall course is in fair shape. I think it gets more play than it normally would (based on condition) because of its location. Not sure how much $ is being invested to maintain the course. Only occasionally see maintenance personnel out attending to the course. I play here because it is fairly close by, and the layout for the most part is enjoyable. If you are looking for a well-maintained course, this is not it.
Slow Play
Poor course management by staff. Extremely slow!!! Had to skip 15 and 16 just to get done in 5 hours.
