West Pines Golf Club

I had a great round of golf at West Pines Golf Club! This is a beginner friendly course with wide open fairways that give you room to play and make it enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. Don’t let the open fairways fool you though. I lost my ball a few times because the rough and some fairway areas were pretty thick, so keep an eye on where your ball lands. The greens are FAST! You definitely have to be mindful of your speed when putting. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely play here again!

Best course on the Westside of Atlanta bar none! Greens are in great shape and FAST! Worth every penny!

Coming from Texas, and we don’t see $60 courses that look like this. Sure some of the greens were beat up around the edges, but the fairways, tee boxes, and 90% of every green was in great shape. Really didn’t want to write this review in hopes that this could remain a hidden gem

The course is in great shape. I am from Douglasville and remember the original layout. The owners of this old course would be very proud of what they have turned this layout into. I highly recommend this course to anyone that enjoys a challenge and fast greens the layout is very fair and enjoyable.

The greens putted well a few had some dead areas but mostly on the collars. It appears they are improving many of the areas that look as if they were over grown at one time.

Worth playing again.

ROSWELL GA

Best public course in area 25 miles radius. I don't play this course often, but when I do it's always exceed my expectations. It looks better than most of the semi-private courses I've played this year. It won't disappoint you.

Course was is great shape and for the value it is top notch. The greens had a little sand on them for maintenance but it didn't negatively affect the roll.

The course is in great condition. Fairways and tee boxes good. Greens are excellent. A few bare spots on edges but overall good. Bunkers had not been raked and were mediocre. Will return.

Overall the course is in great shape, extremely great shape. A couple of holes have a goofy layout (have to lay up a couple of times) but outside of that worth the trip out there.

West Pines is well cared for and a great round of golf. Good conditions and a not too tough course but still a fun layout.

Great course, has some challenges ! Course was in top notch condition! A lot of work went into bringing this course to where it is! Used to play a few years back and it was a bottom tier course! But since the upgrades and the hard work that has been put towards it, it is a top tier course to play in Atlanta, especially the west side!

Well worth my nearly hours drive. Great course - challenging, but such great shape. I’ll be back.

The best conditioned course in the area. Greens and fairways were in excellent shape. Rough is thick and easy to lose a ball in it. It’s a must to keep the ball in the fairway off the tee. Very convenient to I-20.
