First time, nice course, very fast greens…, definitely return

This is a rock solid course that is sufficiently challenging. It’s perfect for the everyday golfer.
Mats on range
Course is in great condition for this time of year! Just sick of driving range being mats vs grass.
Amazing Conditions
Fast, smooth Tifeagle greens with significant undulation. Maybe the best public greens near ATL. Course conditions all around great; fairways, bunkers, green surrounds, etc. Solid layout other than a few too many holes bisected by large creeks. $18 off if you walk. Kid friendly, one of the best Youth on Course Options.
My favorite course
West Pines or “The Pines” as I call it is by far my favorite course. It is challenging, always in great shape and most importantly, the staff at West Pines are the best! They are friendly and always accommodating. West Pines is constantly investing in the course, from keeping the greens true, fairways smooth and yes, don’t go in the deep rough! It’s golf!!!
Looking forward to playing this weekend!!! Keep it up West Pines staff…you guys are doing a great job!!!
Poor Accommodations
I have been coming here for years only because it’s 5 mins from my work otherwise I’d gladly take my business and money elsewhere. Seems like every time you arrive at the course after 5pm the ball picker is down. Or even better they will gladly sell you range balls and take your money then say you have to be done a specific time and not when they close, right after they took your money. Just seems like the place could be so much better if their equipment was working or if people would provide the service they are getting paid to provide. Shady, when they let you buy 4 bags of balls and then tell you that you have to leave in 30 mins when you get out on the range but the shop attendant didn’t say anything about it. Cart attendant are rude, at least the old guys are anyway. I don’t recommend this establishment if your looking for a pleasant time out trying to enjoy a nice day because it will be a deflating experience.
