Nice to have a city course that is this great shape this time of the year. Kodo's to the staff at Bowden and the City of Macon, Ga. Keep up the good work.

This is a great course for beginning golfers, as it provides straight, wide fairways.

Nice layout.
A good course for being city-operated. The layout is straight-forward without any "tricked up" holes. Greens are somewhat fast but not ridiculously fast. The greens do not bite and do not hold so you have to bounce your approach onto the green, but you don't have to worry about divots all over the greens. Putts roll true. There are some bare spots in some of the fairways, but it looks like they are trying to fix the problem.
I'm looking forward to playing this course again once I get my swing issues straightened out.
