Looking better!
The course looked good overall. The rough is a little deep but makes for more of a challenge. Greens are consistent, some have bad spots where water gets stagnant. Of the 18 holes 2 greens had the previously stated issue. Fairways were really good and allowed for a good roll. You can tell they’re trying to take better care of the course. Sand traps are being raked and in decent condition. I would like the sand traps to be softer but still they’re still in good condition. Good course for the money!

great day at Cottonfields
The course has recovered from aerating the green. Fairways were great. Over all the course is in great shape. Speed of play was good too.

Course has come a long way
good fairways, tee boxes coming along, greens are getting better. sand traps are being worked on. good value.

Good golf
Staff were very nice Good day . Course in good shape, fairways very nice, mowed and in good shape; greens rolled very well, not slow or fast. Sand traps have no sand, the major negative, hard clay and rocky. But you can stay out of them.
We had a great time and a good round, good value - would go back tomorrow.

Course in great shape
the course is in great shape. The fairways are lush and the greens are good. The negative is the sand traps and cart path can use some work. The pace of play was great and the staff is always friendly.

Good not great as could be
The greens needed work very sandy on a frew holes. The cart paths needs extensive repairs and although it rained the day before the coure was still soggy in the grass traps and had standing water in sand traps I played after noon the next day. With a little attention to these details this will be a great course which i'll play again once dry and in the fall. Staff is very nice and accommodating and course is beautiful. A good value with fees with easy access to course from I-75.

Great Course, BUT.....
This was my first time playing this course as I was visiting the area for work. As I looked for courses most of the ones that were being aerated had a notification. This courses’ greens were just starting to come back but greens were still very sandy and bumpy. The rest of the course was in great shape, it would have been much more enjoyable with smooth greens. I would definitely go back to play again, I just wished I would have known before I arrived about the conditions of the greens.

no grass on greens
There were several holes that had NO grass on them. Actually there was more sand on the "greens" than in the bunkers. Course also had sprinklers going on 4-5 of the "greens".

Great for practicing!
Fairways were good. Bunkers had to be fluffed or totally unplayable. Greens just aerated pretty sandy. New markers and water stations new path repair. Looks like they are working at it. Get the greens right and it would be real fun

Sandy greens and sprinklers
The greens were sandier than the bunkers. Some of the greens actually had zero grass on them making putting impossible. You would putt the ball and there would be a ring of sand around the ball like the rings of Saturn. The course also had the sprinklers running on several (4-5) of the greens making them super wet. My group had to wait 5-10 mins for them to go off, slowing our pace down and putting through puddles of water. I would NOT recommend this course to even the highest of handicappers.

Elephant noises
I just seemed to be able to pick carts that make elephant noises. The course was playable but we had people cut in front of us again. It’s a common theme even though the have Marshals.

Needs work
No sand in bunkers. Grass was not well maintained played better courses for the money.

Pace
The pace is awful today. They had a large group playing earlier. The parlor need to do a better job keeping the pace . Are tee time was 8am. We finished at 12:30pm.
