Cotton Fields Golf Club, The

Good layout, challenging course, price is great. Bunkers didn't have any sand but didn't matter because I wasn't in them. Only have to worry about water on a couple of holes. Greens were thin and super fast but not terrible. Will definitely go back, good course to practice on.

Overall, the course was in great condition for the price. Tee-boxes were good on the front 9, great on the back 9. The fairways were in great condition. The bunkers were not in good shape but if you stay out of them it doesn’t impact your play lol. The greens were in pretty good shape except for the edges, which had some dead spots. That being said, 90% of the green was in great condition. Nice layout, especially the back 9. Would recommend!

Tee boxes are a disaster, greens are inconsistent and the group behind hit into our twosome. We went to the back nine and a group jumped in front of us. They do have Marshall but they are MIA most times.

Not worth the $42. Greens were in really rough shape. Tee boxes the same. Cart paths were all beat up. Sand traps were more like concrete, but could possibly be due to some of the rain we’ve had. The guys in the pro shop were really nice and friendly. I’d say they were the only good thing about the course. Course layout wasn’t bad, but the conditions will keep me from coming back.

cotton fields is simply amazing, the scenery is breathtaking. The course seems to get better and better with the current upgrades. prices are good, staff is cool. definitely recommend this course!

Greens not in top notch condition and course layout is tricky for a first timer. Fun to play, though. Friendly staff. Course is not on GHIN.

We always enjoy playing this course, the greens are still not as good as they should be by this time a year, also the bunkers are in bad condition, but other than that it’s a great course.

Great public course on southeast atlanta for the value.

Fun and easy course to play (neighboring fairways and open wooded areas make it golfer friendly). all par 5s are reachable in 2 with a good drive. water makes the course scenic. fairways are in decent shape. greens run true. tee boxes are average. sand traps . . . . . to lower maintenance cost, an option is to have grass bunkers. be alert on cart paths and go around rough areas.

Yea, the sand traps are a joke. Wet and sandless. The greens are average and unpredictable. And the cart paths are both perfect and like a roadside bomb at destroyed them. BUT, the rest of the course is a gem, and a really hard gem to play. This courses downfall may be that it is too hard to play for the average golfer, but I still really enjoyed it! I also get the impression that the staff is REALLY trying to make it better i.e. there were more people working on the course then I have seen to date at other courses. I will play it again, as soon as I reload my ball bag!!

Other than playing behind a group of six players, that would not offer to let you go through, the Marshal was called by the people behind us, it was a good day on the golf course.

On a few of the tee boxes on some holes there was no grass, just dirt.

Also, most of the sandboxes were in bad shape, with little to no sand in them.

A few of the greens need some work. Some of the cart paths need to be repaved.

Overall, if booking through golf now a great value for $12, so I wasn't upset.

If I had paid $30 or $40, I would have been really disappointed.

Hard to beat $12 for a round of golf with cart. Fun course to play. Will play again for $12!
