Best course around! Rick Smith
I love this course. Best course for the money anywhere around Henry County especially since they have done so much work on it. Hats off to the maintenance crew. Folks inside have always been the best. Can’t wait to play again!
Favorite Course
Incredibly fun layout to play. Open fairways for the most part, with water and trees being the main trouble areas. My favorite course to play.

Spot on muni track
At one point this was a really nice course. It still has the bones. Now it is an underfunded muni that needs lots of love and money to bring it up to a standard. It is perfect for someone new to the game. The fairways are pretty wide, not a ton of water carries and decent size greens. My wife has only been playing for about 18 months now and it is a great spot for her. I bring the neighborhood teenagers over here. (I’m not taking them to the country club as a big group)

The course is much better than I remember
The course is looking and playing much better than the last time I played here. The greens were good and rolled true. The fairways were nice and played good. The last time that I played here several fairways were more hardpan than grass, this is all fixed now. The staff was courteous and friendly. There are still some issues that need to be addressed such as the cart paths, but overall the hard work has payed off.

Course has good fratures
Making good improvements, repairing cart paiths , improveing sand traps .fairways good, rough short’ looking like the old Cotton field golf Course.

Not a bad track nice golfers very polite. Cart path poor condition save your back on those bumps.

Love the Layout
This course is ok. Tee boxes need to be replanted with Zoysia. It’s the only grass that can handle the shade from trees and foot traffic. There needs to be a lot of trees taken out. Trees are not good for golf courses. I see some have been removed but not enough. This fairways will ok once Poanna dies off. The course needs to double down on fertilizer to thicken up the turf. Greens were decent and rolled nice. Could use a little water. Wedges were not holding and rolling out about 10 feet. I would say they need to add some new tee boxes to lengthen the course. You can see where old tee boxes used to be on some holes that are no longer used. The score card is cheating on the actual yardage. The 2nd hole said it was playing 460 from blues when it’s 390 at most. I hit 300 yard drive and only had 60 yards to green GPS don’t lie. This course could be the best course on the south side if they get rid of trees and get the soil healthy.

Worst day of golf I’ve ever had
Pace slow , rude staff , people hitting into you , no marshals around , today I had it all , won’t be back for a while

Greens keeper needs help
The greens roll pretty good. But the greens keeper needs to be replaced or taught how to punch and refill the holes, they only change pin locations every 3 - 4 days so the holes really get beaten up. The flag stick doesn't stand up because the cups sink to the bottom and the flag won't go all the way down in the holder. then the holes get so big that they can't refill the old hole with the new dirt from the new hole location and then, the ball doesn't roll over them. you have to move your ball so it won't hit a previous hole location. The tee boxes need some help also, hard to get a flat stance on some of the tee boxes.
