Good Track, reasonably l-maintained, Friendly Staff
I have been playing this course almost weekly since May. I have responded to the survey at least twice. However, the it seems the feedback has not gotten back to the course. Nothing has been done to improve the items I had mentioned in previous surveys. Once again, two things must improve at this course as a base requirement. Improve the sand bunkers and repair the divots on the tee boxes and on the fairways. Ball marks on the greens are getting worse over time.
Good Track, reasonably -maintained, Friendly Staff
Short, but rather challenging lay-out. Water comes into play on 14 holes. Holes, 2, 4, 10 and 13 are especially tricky. Careful planning is a must on these holes. Fairways and greens are in good condition considering the finicky weather we are experiencing. Overall, very good course. Two items of concern: 1. poor condition of the sand bunkers. They are rock solid and clubs are likely to slide over the surface. 2. The tee boxes and roughs immediately close to the fairways are in poor condition.
Not a bad course
Fairly challenging course and layout, lots of water in play. A couple par 4s reachable to long hitters but very well guarded. Par 3s were all good length (cuz I know most ppl hate par 3s over (200 yds). Greens were well kept, and conditions were good, however the bunkers were AWFUL. All hard dirt and rocks, which made playing out of them very unpredictable. Probably my biggest beef. There’s a good stretch that is lined with houses too, my buddies pegged a couple. Overall fun a decently priced.
First time on this track
This course has a nice layout, however, this is not a course for big hitters. If you carry 250-270 off the tee you will be in for a “rough” game. Otherwise, the track was good - conditions on the greens were good but the fairways and Tee boxes need some work. My only complaint is the pace of play. This is an easy track and should not have taken 5hrs to complete 18 in a cart
Cart oath only
The 2!rangers they had were very rude and disrespectful. I have golfed for the bee 5-7 years at various courses and never been treated like this on. A course. I wouldn’t waste my money here again....
Bumped out of reserved tee time
They bumped me right out of my reserved tee time. I had a copy of my confirmation but did no good. According to Tee Off someone from Glendale staff deleted my tee time. Worst part is I traveled thirty five minutes each way to the course. I will say the staff was trying to be as accommodating as possible with the mix up.
Sand Traps are like concrete
The course overall is well maintained, nice greens, nice fairways but the sand traps are atrocious. They are mostly dirt with very little sand. Most of the time I have to pull my ball out because it's unplayable. I did complain after my round and they showed me a plan to renovate the bunkers which is fine but why the Heck can't they get a few yards of sand and at least put a fresh layer over what's there? Additionally their COVID-19 foam doughnuts are way to big. I've played many courses this year and these are the worse, the ball skips over the hole when it should drop. Cut a smaller diameter piece and lower it another inch. I've been to courses with an alter flagstick, no foam which are great maybe look into that? I also despise the fact that you can't take the golf cart out to the parking lot to load and unload. I still think this is a nice place to golf and would be even better with those improvements.
Glad I booked it
A group of us were looking to play and tee times were going fast so I booked this course on a whim. Boy am I glad I did. The course was beautiful with a challenging but fun layout. I will definitely play here again.
