Beautiful Day
Very walkable course and got a round completed in 3 hours. Greens in good shape for early in year but the fairways looked a little chewed up. Not having sand available for divot repair might cause a problem down the road
Jgolfster
the course was very nice, but water onthe back 9 got to me.
My one complaint is that the back nine was confusing layout, i think there must be better sinage. After hole 13 i went to the next closest tee box which was 17 and only after i saw the sign for 18 did i realize that i missed holes, 14,15,16. I would still go again but be aware to turn back and to the left as opposed straight ahead to the right. (While im at it, 9 tee box and 10 are also a bit confusing, so if anyone from the golf course reads this, it would be much appreciated to make some of those additions.
Im sure its usually better
Honestly my biggest issue os that the greens were pretty messy. I know they JUST opened and with everything going on they are still probably getting everything together. I'm sure its normally a beautiful course. I very much enjoyed the layout. Provided some challenges but nothing that would ruin your day. I would go back.
Bring extra balls and a the score card at home and enjoy
This is great short / difficult course water on 14 holes I believe. It is a great game building course because it forces you to hit straight it teaches you to plan for your next shot not just go up wack it as hard as you can. Three lakes in play on the 10th par 5 any drive over 200yrds your in water don’t hit it straight your in the water. they did a great job on the lay out I have plaid all 18 in under 3 hours 45 minutes with waiting for the people in front of me. Every green leads to the next tee box no driving the cart for 5 minutes looking for the next hole. Staff is always super friendly
Happy to playing on March 8
Glendale Lake was in pretty good shape for March 8. It seems like course made it through the winter in pretty good shape. Extremely difficult condition due the high sustained winds all day. Enjoyed the day
Its the off-season - when the weather is good early in the year, courses hurry to open.
Course was in rough shape with few amenities available. That is to be expected as weather usually doesn't allow courses to take care of it yet with rolling/cutting greens, fairways, etc. This is a good course for the average golfer.
Not Worth it and call before arriving.
To be honest,
This course shouldn't be on GolfNow without updates.
How can you charge for a cart if they didn't provide it to you?
The staff was rude and unapologetic for a mistake they made.
I will never play at this crap of a golf course again.
It takes awhile to gain a customer and this place took less than 5 minutes to lose one forever.
DON'T PLAY HERE THEY WILL SCAM YOU ANY CHANCE THEY GET!
I couldn't play because it rained
Even the clubhouse said that it was not possible to round because of the rain.
This course will teach you a great deal about yourself, and your game.
No not a terribly long course, a terribly challenging course, fraught with dilemma. You will learn that murder is not allowed on the golf course. You will learn patience. And above all, you will learn the meaning of target golf. This course was designed to make you a better golfer.
Short course, but long and challenges.
Though not a particularly long course, this course will challenge you at every turn. It will teach you that murder is not allowed on the golf course. It will teach you that target golf is the name of the game. He will be a better golfer, the more times you play this Course.
Target golf
Target golf. This course will teach you the importance of target golf, as well as get you in shape for knowing how to play target golf.
Challenging course.
Challenging course. Not long, but quite challenging. This is the course, that will get you to understand that placement is everything. Target golf, improves, with the use of this course.
A great value and very challenging course.
Glendale Lakes has a course that has been laid out the challenge even the very best of golfers. The course, with poor ball placement, will run you to the water. You really must know where you’re heading. It’s not a terribly long course, but you do half to place your balls well. If you’re working on improving your game, and improving your mental attitude toward golf, Glendale lakes will give you a work out. It may well be The challenge of your lifetime.
The course, is very very very well cared for.
Over priced
Course was fairly over priced considering the overall conditions where nearly the entire course was completely water logged; puddles on fairways and water so deep in bunkers you lost your ball if you hit into one. If it was priced properly this wouldn’t be so alarming.
Bad staff
Have played Glendale lakes in the past with pretty positive experiences. They don't have a range and it isn't the best as far as trap maintenance. Now recently I played a round and got a rain check and when redeemed they wouldn't accept a photo copy. Never have I heard of a course that absolutely needs a hard copy really wish I heard that from the kid who gave me a receipt. Also, was disrespected by there pro shop attendant who thought I wasn't following the rules. I wouldn't recommend this course because not only is it not well maintained it's staff is brutal.
