Fun course
The course is in great shape, greens and fairways are in great condition. Sand traps need sand, still dealing with recent rains.
Staff is friendly. Bunkers not so good
Course is good for the money it charged. Has the potential for a great course if some money is spent And work done on it
Good layout
Enjoyed the course as there is water that can catch an errant shot - but the course is fair. Very good shape considering the rain that we got. Some standing water in traps and in low areas, but less than other courses this month. Note to staff - I left my range finder on a tee box and realized it about 2 holes later. Located a maint worker (George) who went back and retrieved it for me! Thanks!
I couldn't play golf,,,
I couldn't play golf because of rain.
The clubhouse also said that it couldn't make larunding because of the rain.
Great course and staff
It had rained hard the day before so there were some puddles but greens were in great shape. Had a great time during this Covid junk.
Rough conditions
Frustrating conditions as the course was in really rough shape following some extremely heavy rain the previous days. Bunkers were completely full of water and were their own version of a lake. The lakes were overflow onto the fairways as well. Some holes on this course are tough enough in normal conditions and this made for an unpleasant round. I would consider other options if available...
This course is challenging with lots of water
This course is challenging with lots of water, and I will continue to play it as long as the pace of play continues to be very good. Last year things were a little slow and you couldn’t get into a rhythm. Very important to be in rhythm on this course since it is tough with lots of water. As far as a negative my only complaint is the 10th hole which is very difficult for the amateur golfer.
Beautiful Day
Very walkable course and got a round completed in 3 hours. Greens in good shape for early in year but the fairways looked a little chewed up. Not having sand available for divot repair might cause a problem down the road
Jgolfster
the course was very nice, but water onthe back 9 got to me.
My one complaint is that the back nine was confusing layout, i think there must be better sinage. After hole 13 i went to the next closest tee box which was 17 and only after i saw the sign for 18 did i realize that i missed holes, 14,15,16. I would still go again but be aware to turn back and to the left as opposed straight ahead to the right. (While im at it, 9 tee box and 10 are also a bit confusing, so if anyone from the golf course reads this, it would be much appreciated to make some of those additions.
Im sure its usually better
Honestly my biggest issue os that the greens were pretty messy. I know they JUST opened and with everything going on they are still probably getting everything together. I'm sure its normally a beautiful course. I very much enjoyed the layout. Provided some challenges but nothing that would ruin your day. I would go back.
Bring extra balls and a the score card at home and enjoy
This is great short / difficult course water on 14 holes I believe. It is a great game building course because it forces you to hit straight it teaches you to plan for your next shot not just go up wack it as hard as you can. Three lakes in play on the 10th par 5 any drive over 200yrds your in water don’t hit it straight your in the water. they did a great job on the lay out I have plaid all 18 in under 3 hours 45 minutes with waiting for the people in front of me. Every green leads to the next tee box no driving the cart for 5 minutes looking for the next hole. Staff is always super friendly
Happy to playing on March 8
Glendale Lake was in pretty good shape for March 8. It seems like course made it through the winter in pretty good shape. Extremely difficult condition due the high sustained winds all day. Enjoyed the day
Its the off-season - when the weather is good early in the year, courses hurry to open.
Course was in rough shape with few amenities available. That is to be expected as weather usually doesn't allow courses to take care of it yet with rolling/cutting greens, fairways, etc. This is a good course for the average golfer.
