Nice course, spoilt by the bunkers
A challenging layout with a lot of water so accuracy more important than length. The greens, tees and fairways were in very good condition, however, the bunkers were a joke (and there were a lot of them). They weren’t just hard, they had no sand whatsoever in them, were rock hard with stones and gravel in them. I didn’t see one with sand. Hitting a green side bunker plot shot was totally impossible. And you will scratch your clubs. This was our first time there and were not going back. How hard is it to but actual sand in them?
Not bad but not great.
Most of the reviews were accurate. Some short par 4’s, sand traps were like concrete, and many unrepared divids. However, some challenging par 3’s and decent par 5’s. Would go back in a pinch.
good course TERRIBLE traps
course very good fairways and greens but traps where CONCRETE .AT LEAST RAKE THEM and a little sand would help. But overall good value.
Very high grass in rough made finding ball very difficult and not a once of sand in the traps. Hitting out of traps was like hitting off a sidewalk
Pro shop
The fellow who checked us in was not very friendly.
A Little Disappointing
Very short course (6200 yards from the tips), lot of water (comes into play on 11 holes). The course winds it's way between town homes. Challenging, the layout is also a bit odd (consecutive par 3's on the back). Loads of un-repaired ball marks on the too-slow greens. Friendly staff. Probably priced about right for a middling suburban track.
Great Layout
Course was in great condition other than the sand traps. Traps are mud - need to dig up and actually place sand in them. Water on many of the holes but course is manageable. Pace of play was great - under 4 hours on a Sunday with a 10:30ish tee time is great.
In good shape but no sand in bunkers
The course was in good condition except for the bunkers. Sand isn’t that expensive! There was almost no sand in them and more rocks than sand.
Lots of Water
I play this course about once a month because it is challenging and we can get some great deals on Golfnow. There is lots of water and some very tight fairways so expect to lose a few golf balls. If you can avoid the water, you can have a low round. This time I found the water a couple of times and shot an average score.
keep it in the fairway
i have played here many times and like the layout and challenges provided. this time, keeping the ball in the fairway was truly a necessity as the rough was a real challenge as a result of the recent rainy spell which promoted the growth to be longer and thicker that usual. finding errant shots and executing recovery shots were both difficult to achieve.
Decent course
Course was in nice shape besides all the rain Playec Cart path in 3 hours honestly look like they should have cut the lawn mowers off of it lot of marks from that and could not get any food to eat they said not enough people playing to open kitchen people out there still have to eat
Challenging Course
We play this course at least once a month because it is a challenging layout. You can be cruising along with a good round and then hit one errant shot that ends up in the water and you'll have a bad hole. Some of the fairways are tight and there's water on at least 12 holes. Enjoyed the round and look forward to playing there again.
Greens are in great shape
Cartpath only only because we received 2 1/2 inches of rain the night before but seem like it was draining pretty well and probably were able to drive on fairways later that evening
