A Little Disappointing
Very short course (6200 yards from the tips), lot of water (comes into play on 11 holes). The course winds it's way between town homes. Challenging, the layout is also a bit odd (consecutive par 3's on the back). Loads of un-repaired ball marks on the too-slow greens. Friendly staff. Probably priced about right for a middling suburban track.
Great Layout
Course was in great condition other than the sand traps. Traps are mud - need to dig up and actually place sand in them. Water on many of the holes but course is manageable. Pace of play was great - under 4 hours on a Sunday with a 10:30ish tee time is great.
In good shape but no sand in bunkers
The course was in good condition except for the bunkers. Sand isn’t that expensive! There was almost no sand in them and more rocks than sand.
Lots of Water
I play this course about once a month because it is challenging and we can get some great deals on Golfnow. There is lots of water and some very tight fairways so expect to lose a few golf balls. If you can avoid the water, you can have a low round. This time I found the water a couple of times and shot an average score.
keep it in the fairway
i have played here many times and like the layout and challenges provided. this time, keeping the ball in the fairway was truly a necessity as the rough was a real challenge as a result of the recent rainy spell which promoted the growth to be longer and thicker that usual. finding errant shots and executing recovery shots were both difficult to achieve.
Decent course
Course was in nice shape besides all the rain Playec Cart path in 3 hours honestly look like they should have cut the lawn mowers off of it lot of marks from that and could not get any food to eat they said not enough people playing to open kitchen people out there still have to eat
Challenging Course
We play this course at least once a month because it is a challenging layout. You can be cruising along with a good round and then hit one errant shot that ends up in the water and you'll have a bad hole. Some of the fairways are tight and there's water on at least 12 holes. Enjoyed the round and look forward to playing there again.
Greens are in great shape
Cartpath only only because we received 2 1/2 inches of rain the night before but seem like it was draining pretty well and probably were able to drive on fairways later that evening
First Warm Day of the Season
First Day in the 80's for this season. It was a little windy, making it more of a challenge over the water holes. Enjoyed hitting one drive about 280 yards with the wind and a little help with a bounce on the cart path. The greens are always in great condition. Very fun course.
Good pace
The course was in pretty good condition. The fairways, rough and greens seemed well kept for playing in early April. The bunkers on the course were not great but not the worst I’ve seen and there were no takes out. I would play here again. It’s a short course even from the tips but lots of water makes you play accurate golf.
Staff is great
Tee time was at noon and I had a buddy join last minute the staff had no issues. We can in earlier they let us start on the back nine to avoid wait for a larger group. Pace was so good we ended up playing another 18 for a fair price.
lots of water danger
I am a duffer. I hit the water several times, but still had a lot of fun. The course was in beautiful shape. I got a great deal on golfnow.
pace of play makes the day
on the first hole we were behind a couple. she missed her first two shots and then hit a ball approx 40 yards to the right. the first hole took at least 20 to 25 min. they did waive us threw on the first hole. later on we ran into an 8some. there was a ranger on the course but apparently 8 is enough. they were all nice guys and after a few holes i asked them if we could play threw. not a problem, all good guys that looked like regulars. we still had a great time but wish the pace was better
Difficult course...place your shots
I found this course hard to play on certain holes. Very tight and water comes into play on several holes. Course was in good condition. Shot placement is key. I am a hack so it good be easier for most.
