Heritage Golf Links - Legacy Nine

I’ve been playing this course and been a member here for almost 2 years. Fairways were in fine shape, but this is the worst I’ve ever seen the greens. It seems like they have gotten distracted with the renovations and not cared for what they have – it really ruins the round. I would not recommend playing here for the time being, as it is not worth the money at the moment.

Greens were the worst I have ever played in. It will be a long time before I will consider playing this course again.

The course has a nice layout, greens had recently been punched however. This being said, they rolled ok.

Normally like this course but greens are unplayable between dead spots and aeration (mostly dead grass) it ruins the round. Their should be disclaimers everywhere when you book. Plus was asked after but a senior staffer, shared my disappointment and was told it had to do with inconsistent rain and trees blocking sun... that's what course maintenance does... very disappointing. Won't be back until 2025, hopeful they fix this.

Greens were mostly bad condition torn up, ball divots and lots of areas with no grass. Bunkers are just hard red clay. Tee boxes were overgrown and lots of crabgrass. Fun course if they can improve the currently open courses. They are in the middle of renovating the Legacy 9 hole course and practice areas. Hopefully they also invest in the currently open courses and add sand to the bunkers.

It has been awhile but I used to play this course alot. The layout is generally good. The course is undergoing major renovation.

Heritage side closed. Playing Tradition (much shorter and easier) than Legacy.

The greens were in really bad shape which was disappointing. The last hole on on Legacy had a temporary green as the regular green was under repair. Hopefully, the course is planning to renovate all the greens in the renovation process so they are not doing much of anything to maintain them now.

Tee to green - the course is in good shape. Fairways are plush. However, greens are in rough shape. They also didn’t say #9 had a temporary green while undergoing maintenance.

My friends and I had high expectations from this course. Even still if I had low expectations this place still would fallen short. Grass is insanely over grown and the greens are some of the worst maintained I have seen yet. Ohh... and don't even get me started on the mower guy that literally followed us around for the 7 holes making the whole experience even worse.

I played with three of my good buddies and we play weekly. Do your self a favor and skip this place. We all for sure will do the same.

The course is currently under construction so hopefully it gets better but the greens are terrible and some of the tee boxes are too. Literal mud pits on some of the greens.

I can’t believe they aren’t telling people the condition of the course before they pay. I drove an hour to play here. My friend was running late so the guy in the clubhouse fit us in when he got there. Got to the starter at the new tee time and he tells me that he just let a father and son play ahead of us that weren’t on the tee sheet. He was a nice guy but maybe too nice to be a starter. They slowed us down the entire front 9. It took me and my friend 3.5 hours to play the front behind them. Not to mention the greens were horrendous. Apparently the course is under construction so the heritage 9 is completely closed. Legacy greens are completely bald while also being punched somehow. I can’t believe they didn’t tell us this before we played. Tradition 9 isn’t as bad but the greens still weren’t great and they were punched too. If you want the course to stay open, then just let people know this before they pay, then it’s up to them whether they stay or not. But after this experience i definitely won’t be coming back until i hear that they made significant improvements. SAVE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE. PLAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Honestly I never leave reviews but felt compelled to write one. For $90 I was expecting a decent course. Every single green had multiple dead spots/bumps. Pro shop staff acted like I was bothering them by checking in. You were lucky to find a patch of grass on tee boxes and pace of play was atrocious.

I will say the few bright spots was the practice area which is one of the most impressive I’ve seen. The halfway house staff and cart cars were super friendly and prices of snacks/drinks were pretty low.

Overall stay away unless you’re going to work on the range.

Horrible greens. Similar to Candler Park which is about 90% less. Definite skip, especially at $100+. Course was in bad shape in the middle of the summer.

Heritage is an amazing course with three options to select, undergoing a complete renovation which will take while but trunk out to be a world class PGA level experience. The pace of play needs to be watched by the Rangers. The driving range and club house is one of the best. Carts need some repair and upkeep.
