Wouldn’t recommend this course. Mud slides on the first six holes. The greens were in terrible shape, like putting on a shag carpet.

Friendly staff. Awesome course, great course layout. The only downside to my trip this year was the tee box’s were a bit uneven..Aloha!!

We have played this course many times but this time the back side fairways were in terrible shape, lots of dirt areas. We play a course at home with sparse fairways so expected lush grass but that was only on the front side.

The greens have several types of grass so difficult to read and putt with changing speeds.

From what was told me in the proshop, they are planning to renovate next year. #18 was closed due to green re-do. So, maybe what they told me, it will be renovated. If they offered a substantial discount & you don't mind lots of dirt on backside fairways, then play it but ask for discount. Go upcountry and play Pukalani golf club. Call pro shop for tee time and a good rate. It's cooler, pretty views & challenging.

The course was fun, but slightly confusing as #18 was closed for rebuilding the green and somehow a substitute hole was added, confusing my GPS. No one told us in advance. The price for the course was excellent, cheaper than the club rentals.

Hubby & I were a twosome. The starter allowed us to go out early. Just give the twosome ahead of us some space. We were clipping along for three holes. Then out of nowhere a foursome was ahead of us. They let the twosome play through. The foursome played two holes. Then doubled back. Go figure. Our pace picked up again. Then two holes up there was a fivesome. Pace slowed again.

The greens were recently aerated. We gave ourselves automatic two putts.

The course is being remodeled m. Hole 18 was closed.

On every hole there were bird droppings in many places. Not goose droppings like I’m accustomed to in the Bay Area. These resembled rabbit pellets.

It’s a short course. Hubby & I had great scores. Overall a fun course.

Those greens were shameful. Also, why would you put singles out on the w/e? No Marshall on duty.

Fairways, tee boxes terrible. Overall, you should avoid this course if possible..

The card that was on the cart was a piece of paper and was incorrect and didn’t have an overview of the course. There were no signs directing you to the next hole and no hole/distance markers on the tee box. Granted the distance is on the ranger finder but I’m old school. The rental clubs were ok, however there was no towel on the bag and three tees. Bring your own golf balls, they only sell one kind in the club house. They have water jugs scattered around the course but one didn’t have any cups.

The entire course (fairways and greens) looked under construction; the greens were unputtable and recently punched (without notice from staff before purchasing) and bare dirt in most of fairways; the back 9 seemed in better shape. Good layout, but the course needs some attention. Definitely NOT worth the money at $89 per round.

Another course scams someone. No mention or heads up of how terribly the greens are kept and are in the process of being aerated. I wasn’t notified until I checked in and already paid $75….then charged another $25 simply for my wife to be with me on vacation. Just an overall unpleasant experience. I couldn’t even keep score because the greens are almost impossible to play. Discount the rate or inform customers of the green conditions first. Very disappointed to travel so far only to not be able to play a true 18 holes. Not to mention, hole 18 was closed. So I paid for 18…played 17.

Have played here for over 20 years. Worst day in a long time. Scorecard did not match holes. We found out after 9 holes that is was 1 hole off. Tried to get a hot dog at the turn, 15 minutes later we were at 10 wjith group behind us right there waiting for us. Found out at the 18th hole that it was closed to redo the green. My favorite hole on the course. Left the course with a bad taste in my mouth. Couldve told us when we were waiting 15 mins after our tee time. Guess everybody using covid as an excuse for not wanting to show any customer service these days. What a shame... only saving grace was it was cheap. And thats what we got.

The course is undergoing significant improvement efforts. The 18th hole was completely closed which was never communicated at time of booking or on their website. There were other large areas that were what I'm assuming were ground under repair. I'm it's current state I'd say the course was maybe in fair condition. The staff were super nice and friendly. Rental clubs were in good shape. I wouldn't recommend it to someone right now in it's current condition but once work is completed I would give it another try if I'm on Maui again.
