Maui Nui Golf Club

The course is undergoing significant improvement efforts. The 18th hole was completely closed which was never communicated at time of booking or on their website. There were other large areas that were what I'm assuming were ground under repair. I'm it's current state I'd say the course was maybe in fair condition. The staff were super nice and friendly. Rental clubs were in good shape. I wouldn't recommend it to someone right now in it's current condition but once work is completed I would give it another try if I'm on Maui again.

Number 18 is closed but you still get 18 holes as a existing backup par 3 was activated. Layout still a little clunky and fairways thinner than usual and more wet/muddy spots but very playable. Greens in good condition overall.

This is till one of Maui’s “best” golf values and the staff are excellent!

For golf on Maui this course is just OK. But the fee to play makes it worth it. The greens were OK, but fairways & tee boxes were bad,

You’re in Hawaii… enjoy it! Just don’t overpay for the next few months as they are reworking the 18th and as a result a number of changes have been made to the course. New par 3 second hole, a shortened par 5 2nd now 3rd hole (also now a par 4) and a missing par 5 18th make the golf experience a little tainted. Course knowledge definitely makes a difference as well, so next time I’m in Maui, I will definitely plan to play the course again.

Great course for the money. I enjoy playing this course. It has a decent layout. Back nine fairways are a bit rough but doesn’t make a big difference. You can’t beat the price at this place compared to other courses on Maui especially the resort courses like Wailea.

Greens were slow, 18th hole closed for green restoration, irrigation work/repair in progress on 1/2 the holes. Restaurant was closed. I got a Hot Deal, but feel like I over charged.

Been playing here for years and I’ve never seen so much dirt and rocks. The grass is dead and gone. Looking more like a goat track. That’s the main reason many don’t play Pukalani, too arid.

Great place to play golf in Hawaii for under $100. Staff were friendly, course was in really good condition. Greens were in excellent condition. Great views of the ocean. Pace of play was good but who really cares? You're golfing in Hawaii! Well worth every penny.

The best part was pace of play. The worst was course condition with almost every hole having significant spots where it was muddy, patchy and the greens were frustratingly slow. No real beautiful views or memorable holes. We did play in under 4 hours.

First time every playing golf in Maui. My boys and I loved it. Nice course and excellent views of Haleakala and the ocean towards Lahaina. Would definitely play again!
