About
Pukalani Country Club has a unique location at the 1,100-foot elevation of the famous Mount Haleakala, an extinct volcano whose name means “House of the Rising Sun.” The dramatic elevation offers breathtaking views that span the West Maui Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. The golf course features wide, undulating fairways and fast, sloped greens. The gently rolling terrain can cause some tricky uneven lies. There are trees and well placed bunkers scattered throughout to provide further challenge. Pukalani Country Club has a unique feature on the par-3 third hole. The hole gives golfers the options of hitting to one of two very different greens, one which requires a tee shot over a tree-filled gully and another that requires a shot beyond a cliff to a pal tree-lined green.

Great alternative to pricey courses
The course is in great shape for the money. Carts are old with no GPS. Not a country club atmosphete. We will definitely be back for good, cheap golf. Upcountry drive is beautiful and not touristy.
Pretty, great value!
Forget the temporary clubhouse and restaurant... It's a pretty course in great shape. Some bumps in the trail, but overall interesting, pretty, and great value for your Maui Buck,!
An Affordable Golf Round in Hawaii!
Had an enjoyable experience at Pukalani! We booked through Golf Now and got a discounted price, which was a bonus! The check in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The fairways and greens were in good shape. Sand traps weren’t the best but it didn’t affect our games.
So glad that there are still some affordable local courses in Hawaii as we can’t all afford to golf the expensive resort courses!

We play here every time we come to Maui. Great value, good sales, fun course, pretty views.
Course kicked us off at 1730 before finishing our round.
Rough Around the Edges
No clubhouse, carts are dated and no real cart paths but, out of all the local courses this course had the best layout from the back tees, hands down. If you allow yourself to get past the rough edge items this course it a solid track.
Great value
I purchased a hot deal round for this course and was not disappointed. The course is very technical but a lot of fun. The staff in the pro-shop were awesome and made sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend.
Hawaiian golf on a budget
It was a above average experience. Great price with a cart. Course shows some wear and tear around the edges but at least it was golf in Hawaii with some great views.
A hidden jewel
This course has it all. Not convenient to most tourist arras but one of my favorites. Has it all except you need to drive a half hour or so. Try it
