About
Pukalani Country Club has a unique location at the 1,100-foot elevation of the famous Mount Haleakala, an extinct volcano whose name means “House of the Rising Sun.” The dramatic elevation offers breathtaking views that span the West Maui Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. The golf course features wide, undulating fairways and fast, sloped greens. The gently rolling terrain can cause some tricky uneven lies. There are trees and well placed bunkers scattered throughout to provide further challenge. Pukalani Country Club has a unique feature on the par-3 third hole. The hole gives golfers the options of hitting to one of two very different greens, one which requires a tee shot over a tree-filled gully and another that requires a shot beyond a cliff to a pal tree-lined green.

Best hidden gem
In my view, this is the best quality price golf course in Maui . Course is nice , well maintained and challenging. Staff is friendly and price is very reasonable compared to the other Maui golf courses

Pukilani holf
Beautiful location but we were plagued with rain and wind. Signage was lacking so it was easy to lose sight of the next hole. Lots of debris on the course from the previous weather?
Golf carts were almost dead; disgusting that they put you on them.
The course is just fine.
1st time at Pukalani
The course was in good condition-fairways and greens. I plan on playing it again when I’m in the area.
Nice layout
Generous fairways, some greens are undulating, all are sloped and were cut closer than the last time we played, so they were faster. Trailer houses pro-shop and restaurant. The restaurant has a pretty good menu and we've had a lunch and dinner there. Both times we were happy with service and food quality.
Slow play ruined a round on a ice track
Slow play led to a 2 and 3/4 hour 9 hole round.
Greens slow, but the course is in great shape.
Lots of elevation changes. Certainly enough there to challenge most golfers

Excellent experience for very reasonable price. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The course was in great shape and was very playable. The views from the side of the volcano are outstanding. Highly recommend this course.
Course condition
Pace of play was very slow, greens were very slow. The rest of the course was in fair condition.
Little over priced.
The course is pretty basic, everything is right in front of you. Hillside design, up n down. There are a couple of great views. The tee boxes need to be levelled. There is no club house, just trailers. There’s no beverage cart or halfway house. No rules either!! Staff was nice tho.
