About
Pukalani Country Club has a unique location at the 1,100-foot elevation of the famous Mount Haleakala, an extinct volcano whose name means “House of the Rising Sun.” The dramatic elevation offers breathtaking views that span the West Maui Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. The golf course features wide, undulating fairways and fast, sloped greens. The gently rolling terrain can cause some tricky uneven lies. There are trees and well placed bunkers scattered throughout to provide further challenge. Pukalani Country Club has a unique feature on the par-3 third hole. The hole gives golfers the options of hitting to one of two very different greens, one which requires a tee shot over a tree-filled gully and another that requires a shot beyond a cliff to a pal tree-lined green.

Bad experience in an otherwise good round
We were playing a “twilight” round and where on hood pace to finish 18 before dark. Then groups started jumping in front of us. They said the Marshall told them to jump ahead to 18 so they could finish before dark. That may have allowed them to finish but they had already pulled the pin by the time we reached the 18th green.
SLOW greens
Fairly long from the forward tees.
360 par 4's uphill!

Pleasant experience on a very windy day. Not crowded afternoon and good value. Suggest you play early due to less wind on most days.
Good location
We rented 2 set’s of clubs, I can understand no balls provided, but tees and ball markers? Come on man! And a club head brush would be a nice touch! Ya think🤔, sand bunkers could use some fresh sand! COME ON MAN 👨
Very welcoming and friendly
As golf newbies and out of state visitors, everyone was super friendly and helpful. Nice course and great views. Fantastic value for money considering how $$ some of the others are
Great Couse
Everything was great. The fairways were a little sketchy but otherwise a great course. Pace of play was perfect. Will definitely be back.
Golf here when on Maui - you won’t regret it
Friendly staff - fun course. Very affordable when in Hawaii.
Great Greens
The fairways were fairly decent but the rough was terrible. There was no grass in the rough - only a few patches, but mostly dirt. The greens were in very good shape. Lots of elevation changes and wonderful ocean and mountain views.
