Pukalani Country Club

Challenging course in great condition. Views of the island are outstanding. Lots of elevation changes that make the course layout interesting and more difficult to play. The best value for your money on the island hands down!

Why would pins be removed well before carts are due in?? We were told a 3:40 start shouldn’t expect to finish yet it was 5:45 and pins were removed. We had finished 9 and told we could do 10 and 18 and that we never should have expected to get 18 in. We were just 2 golfers, we don’t mess around and would have liked the chance to play the full 18 as that is what we paid for.

The course was in the best shape we’ve ever seen it. Very challenging layout. Greens were in very good shape. Nice elevation changes. There is no other course in all of Hawaii that has as good value for the cost of green fees. Very inexpensive! Don’t change please! Been golfing here for many years.

Golf course is in great condition. You can get great value for money at Pukalani. Ask about the 1 week Aloha pass. Respect for locals goes a long way.

There is no course Marshall telling you to hurry up. So if you are use to that, Pukalani may not be for you, but if you just want to play some island golf… there are some great holes including canyons, double coast vistas and a challenging uphill finish. Sand is consistent as are greens and fairways are lush and resilient.

Advice play early and on weekdays - leave the late afternoon times to locals and families.

Love this place ! Extremely fun yet challenging golf course with fantastic conditions and spectacular views ! Service is second to none and pace of play is excellent. Great food on site, beverage cart and good value in every respect. For the price I will always prefer Pukalani to anything else on the island!

A perfect day for golf at Pukalani. The course is in great shape and the greens were excellent. Being a 20 handicap this is a challenging course and I appreciate that it is usually in good condition.

Enjoyed the course. Greens were in good shape as were fairways etc. Rental clubs were OK except the bags were torn which meant you couldn’t use some of the slots. Men’s set had 12 clubs for $45. Ladies set had 10 clubs for $45.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day of golf at Pukalana . Is it a country club? No. Was it a great place to play golf? Yes price is right. Conditions were very good. Typical Hawaiian golf course uphill downhill tree lined fairways wide, friendly to tourists and we had a really good time. Pace of play was 4 hours. I would go back even though it is a bit out of the way. Beautiful views.

Snack bar had the BEST cheeseburger in HI.

When you arrive for the first time, you might think that the fires in Lahaina or hurricane whenever took out their clubhouse, and that they're using temporary facilities until they rebuild, but then you notice how "permanent" the facilities appear to be and realize this IS their normal state of operations. Couse was OK, layout is better than the upkeep and conditions (cup edge conditions suggested multiple days with the same pin positions). Then as twilight golfers, we were instructed to have the carts in almost 20 minutes before sunset, which I didn't appreciate given that could be two more holes played if we're moving along. Then about the 7th holes, a course worker comes up to us while were holing out, and tells us that we now have to stop playing another 15 minutes before the first deadline (which I would have ignored, except my playing partner was done when we got to the second instructed return time. But they definitely treated us as an obstacle to remove so they could continue with whatever they were doing after they left. Avoid this course unless you just can't afford anywhere else in Maui County. And if you found this course because some ratings said it was in the top 25 of Hawaiian courses, STOP using that source!
