About
Pukalani Country Club has a unique location at the 1,100-foot elevation of the famous Mount Haleakala, an extinct volcano whose name means “House of the Rising Sun.” The dramatic elevation offers breathtaking views that span the West Maui Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. The golf course features wide, undulating fairways and fast, sloped greens. The gently rolling terrain can cause some tricky uneven lies. There are trees and well placed bunkers scattered throughout to provide further challenge. Pukalani Country Club has a unique feature on the par-3 third hole. The hole gives golfers the options of hitting to one of two very different greens, one which requires a tee shot over a tree-filled gully and another that requires a shot beyond a cliff to a pal tree-lined green.

Great , As usual. Conditions good, pace reasonable and staff great. Show up early and you stand good chance of going out earlier than your tee time!
Great course for the price
This is the second time I have played this course. I played it the same time last year. The course has done some nice upgrades, especially the carts.
A Real Bargain
The course is in good shape. It has wide fairways, so not as difficult as many of the courses on the island. Not on the same level as the expensive courses, but a real good value for the price.

Great course and value
What you see is what you get. No blind shots but elevation. Very playable and conditions were great. Staff Very friendly and great value . Have played it again because of the value.
Great value
Played with buddies first time to Maui. They loved it green were in good shape and speed. Bunker could use some work but just don’t hit into them. Overall well worth it. Already set to plat there again later this week.
Wide open fairways
We enjoyed playing Pukalani very much, the green fee was reasonable, as was the price to rent clubs. The course is great for the intermediate golfer with wide fairways and minimal hazards, on a good day a great score is possible. Overall good time.
Great value, needs proper bunker sand
Great course, friendly staff and extremely affordable. Only negative was the bunkers, you’ll need to chip out because the ground is so hard and there’s no depth of sand. All in for golf and club rentals was 58 dollars through GolfNow app.
Nice track
Tried to play the blues…..lol. Holy wind. What a test, winds make it very interesting. Really makes you play fades and draws precisely. Greens good shape as well as fairways. I would come back. Very picky golfer I am.
Challenging and fun
Course was in great shape. Cher at the Pro Shop was super helpful- actually, all staff members were courteous and professional.
A great value for your money- would definitely play this course again.
Beautiful and affordable course
Paired with a wonderful couple from Florida. Rate of play was good but a five hour round. Will do this again when on the island.
