About
Pukalani Country Club has a unique location at the 1,100-foot elevation of the famous Mount Haleakala, an extinct volcano whose name means “House of the Rising Sun.” The dramatic elevation offers breathtaking views that span the West Maui Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. The golf course features wide, undulating fairways and fast, sloped greens. The gently rolling terrain can cause some tricky uneven lies. There are trees and well placed bunkers scattered throughout to provide further challenge. Pukalani Country Club has a unique feature on the par-3 third hole. The hole gives golfers the options of hitting to one of two very different greens, one which requires a tee shot over a tree-filled gully and another that requires a shot beyond a cliff to a pal tree-lined green.

Hidden Gem!
Pukalani’s beauty and well maintained course are not the only 5 star things at the club, Everyone from the pro shop staff, cart guys (especially Wade) are top notch. The restaurant’s food is delicious and great value for money, just like everything else at Pukalani .
If you are on Maui and you want the best golf, people and views, don’t miss this hidden gem of a place!
Great day to golf in Maui!
Always nice & beautiful to have the opportunity to golf in Maui. Course is in the hillside/mountain, but a few holes can see the water from a distance. Course has a local vibe and quaint.
Great golf
This course is fun. Lots of varieties. Staff was very friendly. Beverage cart came by 4 times. Yep we had fun. Best course we played on Maui.
Beautifully maintained & great prices with no fancy amenities
Unexpectedly a beautifully maintained course, no fancy amenities, but very reasonably priced with cart. We played on a Saturday without any crowds.
Overall very enjoyable round
We always enjoy Pukalani. We were paired up with a lovely couple from Wyoming. Check-in was a breeze and the gentleman at the desk was super friendly and helpful. The gentleman on the course offering water was very friendly. The lady in the restaurant was friendly when we grabbed beverages at the turn. Our only complaint is the starter, he was rude and condescending to us. I believe his name was Jim.

Great , As usual. Conditions good, pace reasonable and staff great. Show up early and you stand good chance of going out earlier than your tee time!
Great course for the price
This is the second time I have played this course. I played it the same time last year. The course has done some nice upgrades, especially the carts.
A Real Bargain
The course is in good shape. It has wide fairways, so not as difficult as many of the courses on the island. Not on the same level as the expensive courses, but a real good value for the price.

What you see is what you get. No blind shots but elevation. Very playable and conditions were great. Staff Very friendly and great value . Have played it again because of the value.
Great value
Played with buddies first time to Maui. They loved it green were in good shape and speed. Bunker could use some work but just don’t hit into them. Overall well worth it. Already set to plat there again later this week.
