About
Hawaii Country Club was one of the first golf courses in West Oahu. Unlike many of the island's courses that are relatively flat, this course is defined by its landscape of rolling hills and valleys. The dramatic elevations provide scenic views that stretch to Diamond Head and Pearl Harbor. Another defining characteristic of the golf course is the hundreds of natural Monkey Pod trees that are scattered throughout. The layout is not particularly long, placing an emphasis on accuracy and good course management over long distance driving. Be careful on the greens, they may not be fast but they are very undulating. If you misjudge the slopes, you could easily end up putting three or four times. Hawaii Country Club finishes with an uphill blind approach on a par 4 that is short but tough.

Very disappointed
After traveling almost an hour an a half to play this course it was a waste of time . Golf now shows this course in good condition. After arriving the golf carts were trash to start it off. The course had literally no grass and lots of dirt . Extremely difficult to even navigate around this course. Overall I would not recommend this course to anyone visiting Hawaii.

Dis has got to be da numba one course on da island! Chill vibes, drink beer all day and cruise!
Great course! Great price! The course offers a couple fun par 3 hitting down to the green. Not to busy an great for all levels of play! Go check them out
Getting Better.
Haven't played this course in 3 years and was surprised with big improvements. Had a great time even that I really sucked.
Fun practice course
I love coming to Hawaii Country Club to relax and work on my game. It’s never crowded in the afternoon on weekdays. The scenery is very tranquil and some of the holes are quite challenging. For the price you can’t beat it.
Getting better
I play this course 4-5 times/year. Yesterday was the best it's ever been. The greens were...green! Nicely manicured greens and fairways. Started watering after the last golfers went through each hole (I wish all courses did this). The only big negative is lack of signage for next hole. I hope they keep up the good work improving the course.
Fun to Play
I have golfed here a few times, I have found the condition of the course is improving. While there is still room for improvement, the relaxed pace, great staff will bring me back.
Very convenient
Even we are non resident, price is exellent and very calm and very good for exercising.
Joke
High fareway grass, greens had no grass, or crabgrass. Tee box grass was high. Terrible condition overall.
Cart road is needed to repair
The cart road is some dangerous as there are many cracks and holes. Especially in the rainy day , the muddy road is steep and slippy .
The safety is the first to consider and the road needs to be repaired.
Green condition has been better than last year.
Cart road has to be renovated.
I've played here before. Today I left my 8 iron on course. Only 2 groups played behind me and it wasn;t turned in. ??????
Not a course to waste money and time on
The course was in very poor condition - fairways and greens. Only 1 green #17 had some care done on it. there was a crisscrossing of fairways and very poor signage. The views are beautiful though so you can always look at the Honolulu skyline when you are frustrated with the course.
Where do you guys play?
This course was not in good shape but for $19 on GolfNow with a cart in Hawaii is a steal, beautiful vista and not a bad layout for they guys who bad mouth this course save your airfare and play at your local muni course Oh did I mention it’s November I’m glad I played it

Golfing rough in Hawaii countryside
Nice views, relatively inexpensive, but the course is not in very good shape. Only two tee boxes, the cart paths are in pretty bad shape, reminiscent of the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland! On the positive side, there weren’t many golfers, so pace of play was not a factor, and Twilight rates of $25 start at 2pm. My wife and I enjoyed our round.
Poor maintenance!!
Greens were bumpy and fairways weren’t cut so it was like hitting from the rough. Grass clippings weren’t picked up and you couldn’t find your ball easily. Poorly laid out course.
