Tamarack Golf Club

For the price its solid, just too many nats all over the course.

We played on Father’s Day which is a busy day. Usually a course has enough golf carts to meet the high demand. However, Tamarack did not have enough carts on that day. Consequently the starters were running back and forth trying to find carts backing up tee times and causing confusion at the first tee. On the course, play was slow which caused our group too terminate our round early to get to an afternoon cook out

The greens were in terrible shape and sandy. The sand traps have almost no sand in them and we’re terrible to play out of. The area is in a bit of a drought but I expect more out of a course like Tamarack.

Nice course, nice clubhouse. Fair pace . Only thing unsatisfactory was the fact that they had cart shortage due to break downs . Put us 15 to 20 behind and one cart only lasted 9 holes.

Its shame because this course for many years was one of the better courses in the area, info on holes layout and yardage was non-existent, the courses yardage markers were not provided leaving one to guess at distance to the hole. No distance/yardage monitor provided in cart. The sand bunker had weeds growing in them, poorly maintained.

Course is in terrible condition. "Bunkers" have weeds and rocks and very little sand. The carts were dirty and had trash in them when he picked them up. Cart paths are past their prime. The greens were fine although they did not match the practice putting surface. There was a group of 6 slowing down the entire course. After they had left, a surly ranger continued to circle the last few holes as if he was trying to figure out why the pace was so slow. Paid $62 and feel as if I overpaid by $40. The set up of the course is nice and challenging but the execution by the management needs a lot of work.

I like this course, can’t wait until they get the new carts but the sand traps need serious help

I have played this course multiple times. At the end of last summer I was keeping my fingers crossed that they would do some major work on the sand traps this spring. I was disappointed to see the sand traps in horrible condition just like they were last year. I didn’t realize you couldn’t get sand these days because they would need truckloads to fill in the sand traps that have no sand in them at all. Greens are in decent shape. Teebox are average, but I will not go back to that course again.

One of the worse conditions I've ever seen. Once this was a decent course. They clearly have not maintained any of the traps. Brutal.
