About
Tamarack Golf Club is a course that will test your shot-making skills yet it is still player-friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. Pete Dye designed the course with tight, sculpted fairways and undulating greens that come in a range of sizes. The layout offers plenty of challenges with water or sand coming into play on every hole. The golf course will test your accuracy but it is not as difficult as many other Dye designs. The third is one of the toughest holes. A severely undulating green protected by deep bunkers makes placement vitally important on this par 3. The 15th is one of the back nine's more challenging holes. It presents an interesting risk-reward opportunity with a myriad of teeing options. Water lines the entire right side and the two-tiered green is flanked with bunkers to the front and right.

Progress!
About 5 years ago, we played Tamarack and it was a mess. apparently the grass had been invaded by a deleterious problem, leaving tee boxes and fairways without grass. Infuriated that we had to pay for the experience, we chose not to play Tamarack again.
Things change and it was just as refreshing this time as it was infuriating the last time we played.
Much Improved
Very happy with my round today. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, particularly Michael in the Pro Shop. We really felt like members of a club while there.
The course itself was in great shape other than the bunkers, but we were told that there is finally some momentum toward correcting those issues. The greens rolled true, but I would personally prefer them to be a bit faster.
The bev cart and bartender were great, and we spent some time after the round on the patio overlooking the course. Would have been nice to have more options than just hot dogs.
Overall a great experience. You always like to see a place that has recognized its issues and is working to improve. We will be back!
This course has the worst pace of play of all time. Don’t bother playing out here unless you enjoy waiting 5 minutes for every single shot. No rangers out there it’s unbearable
Good but not great
Things were really good, but tee times were not kept and too many 5/6 people groups. This made the pace of play extremely slow.
Needs some TLC
Course was in bad shape. Fairway traps are growing grass. I almost broke my sand wedge hitting a large rock under the sand. I paid $17.00 so all I wasn't to dissapointed.
Beautiful course
Great course , beautiful fairways ! Terrible bunkers and traps but overall loved it ! Great staff as well
Good Value
The course is always in decent shape. Most bunkers are not playable, but if you look past that and just play better golf outside of the bunkers it’s a fun round. Greens roll true year after year and the staff is very laid back. The relaxed atmosphere is what keeps me coming back.

5 1/2 round - not ideal. Extremely wet after rain the day before and cart path only.
Improving
The course seems to be improving this season from the past 5 seasons I’ve been playing here. Hopefully it is a sign for a great season and big things to come. This course offers a lot of potential to once again be a quality course.
Course was not in the best condition but it’s early in the season so I get that. Just not really a fan of the layout and there is alot of other courses I couple play for a the same price.
Staff so super friendly and helpful with any questions we had.
