Tamarack Golf Club
About
Tamarack Golf Club is a course that will test your shot-making skills yet it is still player-friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. Pete Dye designed the course with tight, sculpted fairways and undulating greens that come in a range of sizes. The layout offers plenty of challenges with water or sand coming into play on every hole. The golf course will test your accuracy but it is not as difficult as many other Dye designs. The third is one of the toughest holes. A severely undulating green protected by deep bunkers makes placement vitally important on this par 3. The 15th is one of the back nine's more challenging holes. It presents an interesting risk-reward opportunity with a myriad of teeing options. Water lines the entire right side and the two-tiered green is flanked with bunkers to the front and right.

Very Impressed!
Haven’t golfed here in a few years, but I was very impressed with the new improvements! Pro shop definitely looks great and has a great variety. Greens are smooth, fairways fresh, staff very nice! Shout out to Luke & Michael the managers for their great hospitality. I will for sure be back. Looking to book my fundraiser tournament this summer!!!
Pleasantly Surprised
With this being my first round of the year, I did not have the highest of expectations. While the course was damp, and only 9 holes were open, I thoroughly enjoyed my round.
I had a great conversation with the young lady in the Pro Shop, and she said that the club is under new management. I look forward to returning!
Good for time of year
Course partially frozen but in good shape overall. Finished in 3 hours.
Never liked course and still don't
Never cared much for this place, haven't played it since before covid because they raised Sunday early pricing to $60. It was barely worth the $30 I paid yesterday. Course was in horrible shape, pace of play was terrible and no ranger to move people along. I won't be back regardless of price. Well maybe if it was $15....
Rainy day golf
We were lucky with the right t time today. We were the first golfers of the day at 11:30 am and had a great quiet round and weren’t pushed or pulled by anyone else on the course. Got on right after the rain storm and had blue sky and a cool breeze till we finished. Course was in excellent shape. They were just starting their fall aeration in the fairways.
Due to the weather , we were the only ones on the course at 11:40 am. It’s a beautiful course but full of challenges. The layout on the scoreboard was very small and useless but the fairways were clearly marked at 200 yards and every 50 yards to the green I would recommend a round here to all my friends and go back often.
Great course very challenging a lot of water will play it again though.
Not like it used to be
First time playing this year. Bunkers look like they have not be touched all season - some with big rocks all over, plastic visible, no rakes.
Tees, fairways and greens in decent shape, but the bunkers were so bad they were a distraction from what I think used to be a beautiful slightly difficult course.
Carts did not seem to have been cleaned in quite a while. No water on the course. No hotdogs at the turn.
In my opinion, overpriced for the current condition.
