With the lack of rain, the course was dried out. With all courses, no one repairs their ball marks
The staff was great.
First time at Heritage Oaks playing 18
Course in great shape. Challenging but a great layout. Liked the snack areas on the course. Truly enjoyable round.
Always a fun course to play.
I have played Heritage Oaks about 6 times. I always enjoy the round. It is a fun course to play and has some very challenging boles.
Too many computer generated pin spots in crazy locations.
Specifically, the 14th hole. Five feet from the edge of the green and at the bottom of a ridge.
I mentioned this to the greens keeper and he replied like a real idiot.
Solid Golf Course
Course was in very good shape. Well manicured fairways and greens. Bunkers were good as well. Very nice facility overall with range and short game practice area. GPS on the carts was nice to have. Gas carts which I found unusual, considering the money they out into this place but great value overall.
Tricky Greens
Well maintained track which is protected primarily by the greens. Subtle nuances deceive the golfer on the greens protecting par.
Course was in great condition. Playing time was 3:58 on a perfect Friday afternoon. Never felt rushed and was never waiting. I was the only walker in the 4-Some.
Nice time
Played quick. The only issue no one takes traps or fixes ball marks. If the rangers made this a priority that would help
Has everything you want
My only negative thing about this course is that is a par 70. Great range with trackman that you can use right on your phone. Good chipping practice area. A halfway house that’s nicely stocked that you pass at least 3 times while playing and they still have a cart girl out some times. Great clubhouse. Not a super hard course, classic parkland style. Nice GPS on the carts.
