About
Arlington Lakes Golf Club is situated amid the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Locals treasure the course as one of the area's hidden gems. At 5,331 yards from the back tees, this par-68 layout is on the shorter side but don't underestimate its level of difficulty. Besides the mature trees that frame many of the holes and 14 lakes that come into play, there are more than 100 strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout also features small, sloped greens that demand accuracy but you can take comfort in the fact that there are no doglegs. With strategic shot-placement and a bit of luck, there are some birdie opportunities available. The shorter length of the golf course will appeal to beginners but it's versatile for more advanced players to enjoy as well.

Pace of play
Starter was horrible, pace of play was the worst I’ve seen.

Rather go to a par 3
Course was terrible. They over book the course and try to fit people on that don’t have a tee time. We had to wait at the tee box over 10 minutes and wait longer for our next shot on every hole. Each hole should take approximately 10 minutes, but expect it to 30 minutes per hole. Not worth it at all. I rather go play a par 3 course.

Wish I had stayed home
Right away the starter wasnt friendly. Had no idea who, what or where was going on. Staff inside tried rushing guys out and stacked everyone up. Pace of play was poor. No one there had any golf etiquette. Wouldn’t come here again. Save yourself a headache.

Great course to work on your accuracy
The course was in great condition and very well kept. It is a little short and narrow but the water hazards make it challenging. You need to be accurate with your shots and club decisions to make the course enjoyable or you will accumulate penalties. Great course for the money.
